I don't believe he lied. I actually believe that the NA had one in his file and only removed it on order from above.

Buhari may have been a bit too confident and careless to rely on the copy with NA but the fact is that he wrote and pass WASC. He over trusted the Army believing that it was the same NA he left while there.

Upon joining a new company, I submit copies of all my certificates. After a while, I lose my originals somehow. Will it be wrong for me to swear to an affidavit that copies of my certificates are with my employers? The answer is surely "No" because I know I submitted those copies to them.

If my employer is approached, and for some reason are unable to produce those copies, will I be deemed to have lied under oath? I don't think so because if not for only this type of politics we play in Nigeria, no one should tell a bare-faced lie like this.

The issue here is that the NA was compromised to achieve an end of perjury, hence they were instructed to remove the WASC copies from GMB's file. Could Buhari have joined the NA without the certificate but with the details of his results? I think it would have been better for the NA to outrightly say that his result was not in his file than saying the confusing statements they said.

I am a Nigerian citizen of voting age, sound mind, a good reputation and no criminal history, one of the millions who he intends to be president of so tell me, don't I have a right to ask for it? I have left it to the electoral courts already and I believe. even the most suspect court can legally request that he provide the originals of the certificates sworn to in his affidavit as provided by that same electoral act.
