President Jonathan has admitted criticisms by the Rivers state Governor, Amaechi, that he has done nothing for the Bayelsa, Rivers state and the South South region of the country. Jonathan at the presidential rally of the Peoples Democratic Party at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Igwuruta-Ali, Ikwerre Local Government of Rivers State, said Amaechi was right in his statement but pledged to give his best to Bayelsa and Rivers state if elected in the coming elections. He said the fact that he has not allocated more development to his people, is an indication that he is transparent and meant well for the country. “What I want to tell you and the rest of the country is that the director-general of the APC presidential campaign organisation, when he was in Yenagoa and when he was in Port Harcourt, mentioned clearly that the President had done nothing for the two states. “Don’t worry. It is good news because people are saying that I concentrated development in the South-South. Bayelsa State was part of Rivers State. Then, if I don’t concentrate development in this state, that means there has not been development in Rivers and Bayelsa states. “The DG (Amaechi) is telling Nigerians that I have not done this. That means that I am a transparent person. I did not allocate positions to my people. The DG would have been the very first person to expose me to the rest of the world; not just Nigeria. He would have taken me to America, to South Africa, to France, to UK, but that shows clearly that we mean well for this country. “In our development, every part of Nigeria must be carried along. You will agree with me that when we looked at the university education, and we insisted that look, the Federal Government must make sure that all Nigerian youths must have opportunity for university education. “We did not divide North or South; we made sure that all the states that had no federal university got a federal university. I am not going to comment on development in Rivers State and Bayelsa states. I can reassure you that just work with us; vote for us on February 14, for me and Sambo and on February 28, for Wike and Ipalibo. Since we have been challenged that we have not done anything, we will do something.” Jonathan stated. Good he admits it, but it's too late mr president. You had the chance but you blew it. if you didn't do it then, no evidence you will do it anymore. not even now that you have nothing to lose. There's no third tenure. we have tested you, you have not only failed bayelsian but Nigeria as a whole. Very Stupid Man, You Admitted Amaechi Was Right And Asked People To Vote For Wike And Defeat The Only Man The People Saw When U Were no where to be found. Only If the South south people are dunce like the ekiti People Who voted in a tout as their Governor GEJ A bird in hand is better than Millions on the tree, You admitted you left your own people because you were transparent enough, Only if buhari Had left people in the north when he was the president just maybe we would understand the true meaning of transparency with the level of supports he is getting from north. The President speaks very naively most times....just because of what people will say....you denied development to some Nigerians from your part of the country....I don't believe he is honest with the comment though....since he has financially developed most of the militants. Surely...the people that labeled him kindergarten studied him very well before coming up with that name... It's the naive disposition those around him are exploiting to financially bled this country.. |

some of us who are from d south-south who are in d habit of defending clueless GEJ should come and tell us how our oil resources that feeds d rest Nigeria has been used for continued development of other regions by our Son GEJ against d wishes and aspirations of d Niger Delta people. Is GEJ doing anything different from what leaders from other regions have been doing ones in power? |

He virtually has not done anything for Nigeria except feeding his ethnic militants like Tompolo,Boyloaf and Asari fat and his ethnic supporters like Edwin Clark and Kingsley Kuku. This is why Nigerians must vote him out! Enough is enough!! |
