hmm guess im in another trouble, i registered for jamb yesterday at their official office but what i noticed was that this guys were exhausted , so they were just registering in hope to close for the day, so i did mine and i was told to return for print out slip today. when i got in, the jamb official wasted no time in giving me my slip n the compulsory text...


The Problem


i got home thanking God atleast tfor the quick response i got compared to the previous day so finally check the slip, but to my suprise my ''SURNAME' was misspelled ..it was spelled as Mokinde rather than Makinde ... i was so perplexed guess the rush caused it. the name on my WAEC is Makinde and im applying to a very competitive school.. please guys im i in serious trouble? considering the fact that registration ends today ... please help!

Just pray dey don't notice and even if they don't at this level, I will advice u reseat for waec wit d name on ur jamb slip and swap the result later at d school or just forget d admission and reseat for jamb with d name on ur waec... because weather u like it or not, reference will b made to dos results in future...

thank you sir. but as it is now the options you offered is like walking across a long plate of super hot coals .. i think this is more serious than i think it is

i finally got a not so perfect solution after google-ing. i ll need to swear n affidavit in the court and take it to the screening center during registration to confirm it was a mistake

sorry to burst your bubbles bro...boh just in case you get the admission, before you consider my previous suggestions, I suggest that you visit any Jamb office near you to make inquiry if the mistake can be rectify..since they now use finger print and with the help of your passport, I think verifying the your claim shouldn't be a problem for them..

Jamb name : Uchenna peace Amarachi
Waec: uche peace amarachukwu
Although I’ve done affidavit for change of name on my waec cert . I just want to know if that’s okay and will I have any problem with admission because of the names.
