Does This Mean GEJ Will Loose The 2015 Election? by Nobody: 9:53pm On Jan 30, 2015 |
I saw this while reading an article on the punch newspaper today and of course it got me thinking beyond sentiment:|. Check it out "Mr. President’s stronghold, however, does not have the number to give him a clear victory over the opposition. According to figures from the Independent National Electoral Commission, the South-South (Ikwere, Ogoni, Kalabari, and all), and the South-East (Igbo) boast 17 million voters while the rest of the nation, the North (Hausa, Fulani, Kanuri, Tiv, and all), and the South-West (Yoruba) have about 54 million voters. To lock up victory on February 14, Jonathan’s Goodluck must shine throughout the North and South-West too, not just the areas where he is considered a son and an in-law." pls, mature comments only! Does this North include Benue, Plateau, Taraba, Adamawa, Kogi, Southern Kaduna etc? Ekiti and Ondo already in the bag also. Any way enjoy the picture of this Pakistani girl drooling over GEJ. 5 Likes

Mogidi: You people are always quick to count what was never yours as yours. Who told you that when Ondo and Ekiti people were voting Fayose and Mimiko it was Jona that was in their minds. Also where do you get the notion that these are PDP states. I also laugh when you count all Christian areas in the north for Jonathan. Even places the man never knew were parts of Nigeria in 2011, people have already said he was going to win there. All these people love Buhari personally, Christians have been getting along with Muslims before Good luck Jonathan was born and there is a top pastor of the RCCG on the ballot to further reassure them that things are cool. Everybody in the north knows that bombing of churches and mosques and Fulani herdsmen wahala will end when Jonathan gets booted out of office. 21 Likes |

Ansell: What do you expect? he has lost the election long time. How can a sitting president be so weak to curb the boko haram menace? All he could do was pointing finger at the opposition.. If truly they are the sponsor of Boko haram, why didn't he arrest them? Nigerians are now like, " YOU DO NOT NEED TO TELL A BLIND MAN IS RAINING" We are more wiser than before. We have all tired of his regime. he should return back to Otuoke to learn more how to play politics. If Buhari messed up after 4 years, we all have power to vote him out. 11 Likes |

I read the article and I am surprised that Punch allowed such a poorly written trash on their platform. First, 54 + 17 is greater than the 68 million voters INEC claims yo have registered. Secondly, the figures anyone should be dealing with at this time is the PVC collection figures and not that of registered voters because only those who have collected their PVCs will vote. Thirdly how is the wirter sure that every person from those tribe he mentioned will vote for GEJ and Buhari respectively? |

Mogidi: Why are u so dull at hearing. I said u should stop putting Ondo in your calculation! Buhari will trash PDP squarely in Ondo. Now pls let this stick to your head, the only places GEJ will get some reasonable votes in the places u mentioned are Plateau and Benue. Even at that, GMB will contend with him to a reasonable extent. GEJ may only record a 55% to 45% win over the GMB wind of change currently blowing across the nation in those places. 2 Likes |

GEJ will loose not because anybody hates him but because he has not done well as a president for anybody to vote him back to office. The northern christians (which I'm part of) will vote against him because rather than save our people from bokoharam and fulani invaders, he was busy playing politics leaving thousands of our people at the mercy of daggers and bombs. The south west will vote against him because he dragged our economy to its kneels inspite of the high crude oil price durin his tenure. The youths will vote against him because he supervised a sham immigration recruitment which led to the death of a good number of nigerian youths after 1000naira have been extorted from them. 7 Likes |

I don't know why people keep having this erroneous belief that GEJ will win Ondo state..Ondo people are angry with mimiko already and that will seriously affect GEJ's vote. To be frank, GEJ can never win Ondo state. Speaking from a neutral mind. 6 Likes |

its not about winning a state , its about by what margin did u win. Buhari may win lagos state, but that might be by just about 100-300 votes. When Jonathan wants to win a state, the margin is usually 2 - 3 million votes. 1 Like |
