Nairalanders please help me out here  What's the appropriate dress code for a job interview? I know it is ideal to dress decent and formal however, is wearing a suit a must?  |

ivyy:Is that your natural hair?. Cool stuff. Give me an idea of the organization. They usually say it is safe to wear a suit but I disagree. It is better to make your inquiries about the companies culture including the dress code (That is the safest bet). I have been "thrown out" of a French organization during the interview because I wore suit. I didn't know that the are a die-hard fan of the business casual mode of dressing. At least, a suit without tie would have done the magic for me. |

If it's a telecoms, financial, or media firm, business casual or a suit will do. |

A blazer/blouse combination shd do. That way if you see you're too dressed up, you can ditch the blazer/suit in the locker room (or on a friend's lap..lol) and rock ur blouse monochrome style (white/black). By d way, try nt to wear those braids fixed up like that so you don't come off as too "loud" *wink* |
