Hello cartalk gurus I need help on my car.its a 2003 v6 camry...d front passenger tyre sort of vibrates vertically nd makes dis this shaking metal sound weneva I drive on rough roads.the mechanic said its d shock absorber on dt side dt is faulty.
pls will appreciate any info fron d house on what could be causing d sound.also will like to know d cost of shock absorber for dis model...cost of front alone nd cost of both front nd back.

the new shocks cost 4k for each shock absorber both front and back. at least that's what I bought it for.

Yes but don't be surprised if it barely last a year. OEM goes for around 70k

wit dis naija economy, cnt afford 70k on shocks ooo...I still get family 2 feed ..lol...guess will b going 4 d 16-19k own....nd wil stat respecting potholes.

4k for shocks . I bet you wouldn't use it for a week before you come back asking for another type. The front shock should go for 25k while the rear should go for 15k. For an original shock. But if you want something that was filled with groundnut oil Buy the 4k shock

Biko,Da Allah, pls if u have money...don't buy those shock abs of #4k.Look for kayaba (KYB) or tokico but preferably KYB.They might be a little pricy but they worth it.

it doesn't come with rings... your existing rings will have to be used.

been using the shocks for 2 months now . will see how long it lasts.
