The sooner the better so as to prevent post election violence..
Re: Elections: FG Decides Schools Closure Today by emmasege: 3:06pm On Feb 02, 2015
Any closure of schools that excludes the tertiary institutions in particular is an exercise in futility, because that's where violence quickly erupts. And I hope someone in the ministry of education is reading this.
Mo wi temi o!

Supported, even if it's for three days. I need to get my PVC in order to vote in GEJ for president and Alex Otti for governor, Abia State.

Ofcuz its very necessary for schools to go on break till after the election. It would be very risky for students to still attend lectures while in dis election period, of which its been termed as one dats gonna be bloody. The ministry of education and federal government should pls see to dis.

If you know the truth, the desperation to grab power from certain quaters you will not be asking what he is saying because what he is saying is as clear as daylight.

Don't mind them, how will he know what he's saying when the devil has already blindfolded and made them dumb from seeing and hearing the truth, he wants to tell me he doesn't know that someone have been trying to make Jonathan's tenure ungovernable by bombing schools, churches and kidnapping school children. God will never let all those deamons in. God will continue to fight for us. Jonathan's true wish and desire for this country will surely see us through , wish God on our side.

What's the rational behind closing schools for elections that ain't holding on working days? Elections are held in other climes without any fuss, y must ours b always odd? They should shut down the whole economy already!

I would advise the FG not to close schools considering that schools are made up of youths that could be manipulated by politicians to stir violence in various areas. Let them be engaged with their studies, may be, until 4days to the election. My take shaaa. But in the case of those schooling in the north, they need to go home and rest, it is only the living that graduate.

Its a welcomed idea. A friend of mine(now born again) told me of how politicians give them guns, axes and other weapons to cause mayhem during elections when school was in session.

Unis, Coes and 'polys' as well cos all the talk lately has been about shutting down only primary and secondary schools. Tertiary institutions should be put under lock and key as they're more prone to post election violence.

YES!! Since it is obvious that GEJ will win, there is every reason to close down the schools because the blood sucker and his supporters will definitely start what they know how to do well.

But if peradventure Buhari wins, then no need to shut them down because it is glaring that GEJ and his supporters are peace loving people.

GOD BLESS GEJ!!

Better be quick. Here in Lagos Island, you hear sporadic gunshots everywhere with parents scampering around to get their children away from school.

Few minute ago, same happened while JK came around for campaign. Its really getting serious.

Alex Otti must get into that government house for Abia state to get better.
Hope Abians are reading this.

Meanwhile, GEJ till Buhari's certificate is found.
