Guys dis just came to my mind over the night when i was think about this coming election, The two popular candidates GEJ of PDP and GMB of APC, they both have different case in court, and their is tendency that both of them may win their case, BUT what if court rule against both GMB and GEJ and disqualify them what do u think will happen? is it going to be of good to this country or otherwise..please i will like to know your opinion on this thanks....please no sentiment in your comments. First, there is no ground for the disqualification of GEJ but more and tangible grounds for the disqualification of GMB. To answer your question any case, if GEJ is disqualified on the ground of eligibility, his party can appeal even to the Supreme Court but if GMB is disqualified on the ground of forgery, he will immediately be arrested and charged to Court (wither or not his party goes on appeal or stay of execution) for forgery and lying under Oath. One will be fighting for eligibility to contest while the other will be fighting to stay out of jail. |
