You don't need to be beging people to vote for Jonathan as far as I am concerned. Thats why its good to try to act like best in what you do. I pray his performances speak for him whether good or bad.

This is because when you are truly the best, you really dont need to tarnish the image of your opponent: people will be able to use your performance as the yardstic to vote for you again.

I wish him good/badluck based on his performance.

As much as I commend you by agreeing that contract price inflation is a Nigerian thing whether in APC or PDP I will never agree with you on GEJ fighting corruption through any technology means. The reality on ground far says something else. GEJ has been known worldwide to embrace corruption and corrupt people. He can't just eat his cake and have it same time. Thing is GEJ himself is corruption personified. The indices from Bayelsa state government during his tenure corroborate this. I will permit you to ascribe any other credit to the president but his anti-corruption stand I will draw daggers with you.

there u are.....with an undertone reflecting the underperformance of our gej..honestly the guy did sometins, some things worthwhile......but did practically nothing when placed side by side with the "enormous" resources these nation has bestowed unto him to manage for us..an look at what joe's team did with it..nigeria is a fucking rich country..but look out at where the financial mismanagement, periodic looting by some cabals and fund loss has gotten us today.
I weep for us..u know why cos when we had suplus resourses and income,we mismanaged it with visible real economic collapses...how much more when all odds are against u?
his ability in handling hard times is questionable as he has delivered reasonably far below expectations in suplus.
I don not expect buhari to perform a miracle..no but It is expected of him to perform more than the outgoing goverment in relative to the resourses that will be givwn to him, he is expected to block or rather reduce corruptive loop holes that has been plaguing the country..he is expected to put up rules of law agaist anybody hoarding niger's money only to himself unlawfully, he is expected to place nigeria in a direction out of the present debt we are in, (he has a positibe track records for these as HOS)..he is expected.....let us rest our case

President Goodluck Jonathan has said he would perform better in his second term if elected in the February 14 presidential election.

He stated this on Tuesday when he met with Kogi State traditional rulers in Lokoja, the state capital just before he led other Peoples Democratic Party,
PDP, faithful to the Confluence Stadium for the presidential candidate rally.

Mr. Jonathan is the party’s presidential candidate in the election. He had been fiercely criticised
particularly by the opposition for allegedly being incompetent.

In 2011, the president was quoted as saying that he would rule for only one term because what he could notachieve in four years, even if given 100 years, he would not be able to do them.
Mr. Jonathan however told the royal fathers he deserves another term of four years to enable him consolidate on the achievements he has already
recorded in his current first term which will end May 29.

The president said most governments do better in their last terms because they have enough time to settle down and plan.
“Whatever we have done in the last four years, we believe that we will even do more in the next four years. Most governments all over the world do
better in their second tenure,” Mr. Jonathan said.
“This is because the Presidents are more stable that time, especially in this two-term arrangement. They are more stable. They sit down and plan for the country and focus on key areas.”

The president assured that if elected he would give
attention to the Ajaokuta Steel Company of Nigeria.
He also told the traditional rulers that his administration would ensure that steel was included in the nation’s rail system.

The National Chairman of the PDP, Adamu Mu’azu,
while addressing the traditional rulers, promised that if voted into power again, the party administration would restore their constitutional roles.
“Our party leader, President Jonathan is leading the
crusade to bring you back into the constitution,” Mr.
Mu’azu said.
Also speaking, the governor of Kogi State, Idris Wada, said the traditional rulers had always supported the transformation agenda of the PDP government and asked them to continue to do so.

Speaking on behalf of the rulers, the Attah Igala,
Idakwo Michael Oboni II, asked the president Jonathan to continue with his laudable programmes.

At the presidential rally, Mr. Jonathan assured that he would make Ajaokuta Steel Company work again
because all the legal barriers had been removed.
According to him, steel and iron were very crucial to
Nigeria’s economy.
He said, “I wish to tell you that all is set to make
Ajaokuta Steel Company to work again.”
The president asked the people of Kogi State to vote
massively for him and other PDP candidates on
February 14 and 28 as they did in 2011.

Do u also know dat Arabian Amlak for Investment Limited is right now in court. They feel it's preposterous that they made an offer of $919,999,999 to buy Nitel/Mtel only for it to be sold to Tuned Ayeni's NATCOM for a paltry $252.25m.
I think dis Tunde Ayeni guy could actually be a front buying 4 someone. It happened under Abacha when Dankabo was rumoured to be fronting 4 him. d truth however came out after d two of them died & their children went to court over d ownership of Durbar hotel, kaduna which Dankabo had bought in his own name 4 Abacha during d privatization.
