Firefire:You don't need to be beging people to vote for Jonathan as far as I am concerned. Thats why its good to try to act like best in what you do. I pray his performances speak for him whether good or bad. This is because when you are truly the best, you really dont need to tarnish the image of your opponent: people will be able to use your performance as the yardstic to vote for you again. I wish him good/badluck based on his performance. |

how wish nigerians can be truthful to themselves.i wish we could show them..starting now that we (the masses) have the power to enthrone and dethrone by our votes if the government underperforms as it had been over the last 6years..rather than being held captive by a goverment because they think they are in power.vote joe out and if after 4yrs no orogressive direction with buhari led governement, vote him out again . simple please let no insame man compare the 4 years+ 2 government of joe with prosperous oil boom to an 18months previous military buhari regime |

philips70:[color=#1980BC] We will not lie..but Nigerians as a people are corrupt..Our society place priorities in the wrong things as such most people have become selfish, arrogant and greedy if not there wouldn't be a basis to inflate cost of projects especially those that are of have immiediate advantage to the masses,no way..but it has become part of the corrupt norm both in PDP states and APC too. Yet we expect Goodluck to change the corrupt orientation of our society..please tell us, is he Jesus Christ? that is why we commend Mr President for ingeniously preempting corruption via automation and high tech...you cannot prevent flies from perching atop your food because that is their job albeit unhygienic or corrupt it may seem but like Goodluck you can close the windows to prevent sticky fingers of Nigerians who are product of the society..That is an aspect of transformation that has far reaching effect. aslaaa:Recall, Soludo said for national security he wouldn't want to expose some revenue sources that are conduit pipes. However, you may wish to add earnings LNG investment, NSE and Securities and Exchange Commission, the Customs, Immigration to name a few. |

wow! that's my president talking A humble man but poor achievements compounded by a very bad personal image nourished by poor television outings with gaffe after gaffe has endowed President Jonathan with the image of the world’s most unintelligent President that major world leaders avoid. A sharp contrast to the days of Olusegun Obasanjo. |

pekeyim:So u can shamefully admit that the other figures are right?N117bn for a 1.5km bridge, but the lekki-ikoyo bridge is 1.3km and was built for N29bn. Please, wake up from the oblivion that GEJ is right for the job. Prof Charles Soludo told Okonjo Iweala that N30tn is missing under her watch, and he even challenged her to debatě, but guess what she responded? "That she doesn't want to join issues with rof Soludo. How much is the Chadian government security budget? They dont even belong to the top 10 in Africa, but they are the ones helping your military in your land. I'm buoyed by the fact there are still active supporters to GEJ. My conscience is not seared to the truth. I learn to speak it all times. GEJ has failed woefully and on a score card of 10, he will score a 0.5. |

MR jonathan is a failure .he even admitted during his campaign that he will do better in the next four years. Ask him about his achievement in the last four years. Every project undertaken by this government has been used to siphon money e.g. Refurbish of our airports. We all now the story of aviation minister who bought a bulletproof cars without due process. I cant vote for a govt that has been deceiving nigerians. This president does not have the charisma to move nigeria forward and he s being surrounded by liars and corrupt people who are stealing from nigeria treasury. I can never associate myself with a criminal and ex convict but our president does. |

iiichidodo:As much as I commend you by agreeing that contract price inflation is a Nigerian thing whether in APC or PDP I will never agree with you on GEJ fighting corruption through any technology means. The reality on ground far says something else. GEJ has been known worldwide to embrace corruption and corrupt people. He can't just eat his cake and have it same time. Thing is GEJ himself is corruption personified. The indices from Bayelsa state government during his tenure corroborate this. I will permit you to ascribe any other credit to the president but his anti-corruption stand I will draw daggers with you. Reporter: Mr. President, why are you yet to declare your assets publicly? Goodluck Jonathan: I don’t give a damn about that. The law is clear about it and so, making it public is no issue and I will not play into the hands of the people. I have nothing to hide. I declared under the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua because he did it, but it is not proper. It is not the President declaring assets that will change the country.” The issue of public asset declaration is a matter of personal principle. That is the way I see it, and I don't give a DAMN about it, even if you criticise me from heaven - President Goodluck Jonathan No matter where your loyalty lies ponder on those statements especially if you are hearing them from a president you do not have any allegiance to. |

oneday00d:there u are.....with an undertone reflecting the underperformance of our gej..honestly the guy did sometins, some things worthwhile......but did practically nothing when placed side by side with the "enormous" resources these nation has bestowed unto him to manage for us..an look at what joe's team did with it..nigeria is a fucking rich country..but look out at where the financial mismanagement, periodic looting by some cabals and fund loss has gotten us today. I weep for us..u know why cos when we had suplus resourses and income,we mismanaged it with visible real economic collapses...how much more when all odds are against u? his ability in handling hard times is questionable as he has delivered reasonably far below expectations in suplus. I don not expect buhari to perform a miracle..no but It is expected of him to perform more than the outgoing goverment in relative to the resourses that will be givwn to him, he is expected to block or rather reduce corruptive loop holes that has been plaguing the country..he is expected to put up rules of law agaist anybody hoarding niger's money only to himself unlawfully, he is expected to place nigeria in a direction out of the present debt we are in, (he has a positibe track records for these as HOS)..he is expected.....let us rest our case |

datribune:Do u also know dat Arabian Amlak for Investment Limited is right now in court. They feel it's preposterous that they made an offer of $919,999,999 to buy Nitel/Mtel only for it to be sold to Tuned Ayeni's NATCOM for a paltry $252.25m. I think dis Tunde Ayeni guy could actually be a front buying 4 someone. It happened under Abacha when Dankabo was rumoured to be fronting 4 him. d truth however came out after d two of them died & their children went to court over d ownership of Durbar hotel, kaduna which Dankabo had bought in his own name 4 Abacha during d privatization. Since d days of d TCPC under d goggled one, Abacha to d days of BPE under OBJ & GEJ, privatization in nigeria has never been about promoting efficiency but about asset stripping, sharing of our national patrimony & concentrating d assets of our nation in d hands of a privileged few. d govt corporations, infrastructure etc built over many years & generations & dat should rightly belong to our children & grand children now belong to a cabal of govt sponsors in deals dat reek wit corruption & infamy. Where ar d proceeds frm privatization?. Nigerians hav lost their companies forever wit d lands, buildings & properties & d proceeds frm these sales hav been looted. It's really, really sad. |
