Why do you christian feel the need to resort to belittling? You don't know me. How can you assert my emotions are miniature? Miniature according to who's standard? To what criteria? The following is not proof that God exists but are a few things that happened to me after becoming a serious Christian:

1. I was driving a tractor with a slasher on the back, and I was reversing while slashing long grass, not looking where I was going, when I heard a loud voice in my head call my name. I stopped and then turned around, I was about to reverse over a steep ledge into a dam, there were no people for miles around.

2. One night I was lying on the lounge watching TV when the paddock outside lit up very brightly, I should have got up to investigate, but the movie I was watching was very entertaining. The next morning I heard on the radio that a UFO was seen in the nearby village that night.

3. One day I looked up into the sky and there were clouds that looked like about five sets of eagles wings, the nearest set was like it had been painted by an artist with every detail, even the feathers at the tips of the wings. I,m not sure what it means.

No, I don't know if there is any meaning to it, that event happened soon after I became serious about my faith in Jesus.

So God inspires people to perpetuate hate against others (other religions, gays, women, blacks)? He inspires others to be called superior (the so called holy people) and others inferior (those like me) and He says this is righteous? And this is meant to be a "righteous, loving, caring, forgiving and understanding" God?

Let us not forget that these scriptures have been changed a number of times over the centuries not only that they have no backing. All they are, are someone's word. It is one thing for Adam, for example, to write his story and another for someone to write about Adam 3000 years later - someone he's never met mind you - and expect us to believe he knows what went on even though there is no proof or documentation he can base his assertions on.

I'm willing to listen and accept even experiential truth if need be. For example, people who believe in ancestors I accept their beliefs and assertions because they can back up their claims and do not rely on hearsay from someone who died thousands of years ago who wrote about someone who died thousands of years before him. If ancestors can show their faces and punish those who practice evil or misuse them then why can't "Great I Am"? He is supposed to be the greatest isn't he, yet He fails and relies on faith I'm not trying to be difficult nor am I trying to prove God doesn't exist I just want to understand and need some kind of proof hence I'm willing to accept personal experiences.

I believe those who seriously seek God find Him, He promises that and for me and maybe millions of others it is true.
Faith is knowing God is real, he puts that belief in your heart just for seeking Him, it is all the proof you need.

The fact is that no one has seen God or know what God really is. God might exist, or he might not really exist but I fail to see how the believe in any God helps us as humans.

Our brains are meant for a purpose. We run when we see danger, feel the need to love and be loved, invent things etc just because we have brain to think.

What then is the need of a believe in God?

If there is a God why does he need to be worshipped? I understand why humans need respect and worship but why does God, who is obviously not human need worship?

The world is a mysterious place and mystery happens sometimes but how does that prove God.

I don't believe the holy books are from the creator of the universe. Its an insult to say the holy book is from the creator.

I think those who worship anything and call it God suffer from a deep need to be worshipped. They just project this feeling to a God.

If the creator of this world needs worship that much, his whole creation will know and he won't want us to worship him in an invisible state.

Looking at the wonders of this world and concluding God did it because u think everything is perfect is wrong thinking. It is wrong because I believe the creator could have done better. The world is what it is, we can't compare it to any other world hence cannot say how perfect it is. But I think humans have either worsened or improve it which means everything comes back to us and not God.

Life after death is a wonder, its unimaginable, it's scary. But why don't we all wait, we will soon get there. Its not hell, neither is it heaven.... Its something we all just don't know.

Life, sentience, consciousness. That is God. If you can get a perfect description of God, then you might have missed it.

Faith is blind. If faith is all that is needed to prove that something is real then unicorns are real because I have faith they exist. See? The faith thing does not work. Plus the stories in the bible themselves are far fetched and really push the boundaries of intellect and logic.
