but the naija guys i searched out, i tried contacting one through facebook, no reply..maybe he think say i b fraud or doesnt have time as there engineering is quite higher and demanding than ours especially at the initial period.

anyway thanks for being far too kind.

When you come here, you won't wve have time for facebook. I rarely use facebook, even back in naija.

Just try and email them, they also usually have some international organization as well designed for international student. Or international students campus fellowship. You need to bomb their mail box.

Not a bad GPA, you should hit the 3.0/4.0 gpa when converted. Try and ace the GRE and search for schools that give funding and also search if they major in your field. the best bet would be to use google.com. You can check Texas A&M and Oregon tech (oit.edu), uni of wisconsin (http://www.wisc.edu/)

i was admitted to study Msc Engineering at the university of Louisiana at Lafayette...Though i am yet to be issued my form i - 20,

please is there any one in the school that i could connect to that visits this thread or is there any one in my shoes (given admission but awaiting form i 20 ? ) to that was admitted so that we can connect....

i really seem so alone going there cos from my findings we are a class of about 12 and am the only african i guess..

moreover, roomies.. does anyone really have good knowledge of how ULL is as i have googles out diverse info about the place....

like i really need someone to give me pre info so ama be very prepared.

You might well be the only African in all/most of your classes, but it doesn't matter...you get to connect with other Africans when you get there at events or even Church-if you go to Church.

First, you need to state your profile, are you going for undergraduate or graduate programme? what programme interest you?

first are you going for graduate program or undergraduate program ??

also which kinda school are you looking out for...research. private college. or public uni ??

you also have to write GRE and most probably rewrite your TOEFL if you are going for graduate program...or write ACT or SAT for undergraduate...


if you seem confused you can just walk in to any of these centers for a little orientation or Google any process you don't understand.

If i my ask, How did they scam you

Were you able to get your I-20 and go for visa interview twice

If yes, you have a lot to do just exactly what slimmy said, you need to retrieve all the information that the agent used for your DS160, so you wont waste your time after so much efforts. so that it wont contradict your next visa interview

Feel free to read this thread from Part 1 till date so that you can learn more and more

hello good people.My brother was denied visa last december,but he e mailed the school that he want to defer the adnission to Fall semester which will resume by August.So, they just sent him email that they are sending the 120 and acceptance letter 4 for FAll semester this month,is that really possible?because resumption date is August

i de write almighty paper base gre for benin city on saturday 7th...dat is nxt tomoro..o..pls any advice on anything like ids and wat to take to d hall...

.anypesin in thesame boat as me?

and pls which is d best book to use within 48hrs

Yes 100% possible because they only updated his profile and they doesn't have much stress doing that since he was admitted before and they have his file unlike applying for the first time where they will create file for him, process his file and do other stuffs

Note that your brother can not visit the embassy now until May ending or June 2015 because of the 120 days rule...

Are you just preparing for this examination which is just less than 48hours

Go along with your confirmation print out and your international passport...

You can as well check your confirmation print out, you will see the type of ID's listed for the examination but dont go with your PVC card oooooooo
