BlackBerry World seems to be down for several users across the globe right now. When opening the app, user are presented with a "BlackBerry World is currently undergoing maintenance." pop-up. CB10 reached out to BlackBerry for comment, and are still awaiting a response.

well funny enough, out of frustration, i slotted the battery into the phone this morning and the fone rebooted normally to my greatest surprise.
The screen kept flickering with flashes of white light streaking horizontally against the backgroud. Unfortunatelym, as the phone grew warmer, the screen got brighter until the fone went off.
I pressed the power button and the fone began its antics all over again: namely, blank dark screen with the blue LED lights. Out of curiosity, i dialed my bbq10's fone number using a different fone and i could hear it ring from the dummy fone's earpice even though the q10 remained silent,

so ive been thinking... Do you think it only just needs a new screen cos maybe the heat from the processor burnt the screen's "i.c"?...

I think it's a device hardware failure. My bro's z10 does almost same thing. But he just holds the power button till it starts counting down then releases it. I think it's cause by overheating. Remove your phone from pouch and remove the back of necessary. Use phone on edge alone and uninstalling unnecessary apps might help cool the pricessor

I called Glo BlackBerry customer care, the asked me to send d Imei no of the phone and my BlackBerry pin. But am afraid they might want to block me from using the 1K subscription on Q10, because d guy told me dey now have special package for Q10 device. What can I do to solve d problem pls? I was working perfectly before. The whole thing started some days back.

in BB10, OS updates can be done OTA (Over-The-Air) but you will need to be connected to a wifi network not just your mobile data network...

if you choose to use a PC, you need internet connection on your laptop, BlackBerry Link software installed and a USB cable to connect your phone to the PC

THERE ARE NO LINK to OFFICIAL BB10 OS UPDATES....links are only available if you want to install leaked OS files
