vest:Sorry i was busy during the day...Zimbabwe is largely Protestant because of the British and Dutch influence. But the first missionary to Zimbabwe was a Catholic Father Gonzalo da Silveira in the 17th century. He is also the first Christian martyr in my country. The Catholic Mission in my rural village is named after him. I would guess that there are about 4 million Catholics out of a 13 million population. Thanks and God bless |

Brethren I need your prayers. I've bn sick since Thursday, and just when I thought I'm recovering, it got worse tonight. Good thing today is Sunday so I beseech you all to pray for me at mass today. Also pls share whatever you take away from today's homily so I can connect from my sick bed. U're welcome also to post the entire homily if possible as I won't be able to attend today's mass. I need God to perfect his healing in my body and strengthen my bones. I'm so weak now that breathing is becoming a struggle ![]() Cc: Ubenedictus, Italo, Syncan, jnrbayano, salc, rich4god, modestdude, papist, Babestell, bluerange, Vest and all our catholic brethren. Our lady health of the sick, pls come to my aid |

Kamsified:Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen. |

My zing... My prayers are with you. You will definately get well before the end of the day... One thing I learnt frm the mass today is that... "we matter what we pass through in life, we should knw that God allow such to happen to us... Therefore we ought to accept and offer it to the glory of God." Remembering the words of a saint... Everything we do or pass through in life, let it be to the glory of God... Recieve your healing my zing... |

Kamsified:The cancelled is not your portion dear, so also sickness, I did pray for you at mass and will continue to do so. Infact it seems today's readings especially the gospel and gospel acclamation is just for you. In the gospel, (mark 1:29-39) Jesus performed the simplest and shortest miracle of healing, Simon Peter's mother-in-law was sick, when they told Jesus about her, he went in, took her by the hand, helped her up and the fever left her. We didn't even hear of him praying or speaking at all, all he did was take her up by the hand and the sickness left her. And the gospel acclamation explain what happen in the simplest term, (matt 8:17) "He took up our infirmities and carried our diseases" Yeah Jesus took her up and took up her infirmities, and she was healed! So also I pray Jesus to take you up by the hand and take up your infirmities, that you may get healed. Get well soonest dearie, be strong and smile always ![]() Remember, by his stripes you are healed. Happy sunday! |
