Since gambeling is a sin,hv see so many people pay tithe(includeing me) from gambeling money, e.g money from naira bet,960bet,pool, e.t.c

Pls throw more light on these!

I was taught in Sunday school that such things/behaviours are wrong. That's the much I can say.

I am not aware of anywhere in scripture that states gambling is a sin neither have I come across any scripture that says christians ought to tithe

Although the words "gambling" and "gamble" do not appear in the Bible, we cannot assume that an activity is not a sin simply because it is not mentioned.

The Bible does not specifically condemn gambling, betting, or lottery. The Bible does warn us, however, to stay away from the love of money (1 Timothy 6:10;Hebrews 13:5). Scripture also encourages us to stay away from attempts to “get rich quick” (Proverbs 13:11;23:5;Ecclesiastes 5:10). Gambling most definitely is focused on the love of money and undeniably tempts people with the promise of quick and easy riches.

OP, quit gambling...it breeds greed and hatred, desperation and frustration. Get a decent way of earning money, and pay your tithe accordingly. Forget the man above me, he's got issues you'd not understand in 3 years time.

That's rich coming from you who worships at a church were mamon is worshipped. The verse above you quoted warning against love of money was directed to preachers (like oyaks) who use the gospel too make money.

Whilst personally I don't indulge in gambling or encourage it, it would be wrong of me or anyone for that matter to preach it's a sin because there is no were in scripture it's implied or stated so. Labelling it a sin is in itself adding to scriptures and that is clearly a sin.

Gambling is a sin. Give Christ your heart first before your money. If you doubt ask Cain. By the way, for those saying its not explicitly stated in the Bible, please read through psalm 15 especially the last verse. Very important.
