Patience had her crowd at the rally and they were booing the governor not Jonathan. I don't think they were booing Jonathan specifically, they only booed when he mentioned the governor's name. Now on the street in Yenagoa they don't really like Jonathan but they will vote for him massively as they really have no choice. All Patience Jonathan's people may have a hard time though. What we are seeing in Yenagoa is that one of the five President' s of Nigeria Patience Jonathan has been building her own political machinery independent of her husband who is another President of Nigeria and she is also trying to push a sitting governor around in his own state. I have said it many times and I still maintain it that most supporters of Jonathan are challenged in terms of IQ. No normal thinking person who does not have a mental problem will support this man.

How in the world can a president of a nation call a convicted felon his "personal boss, his "permanent boss". No wonder he abused his office by granting him a presidential pardon. I know many may think it's just the Nigerian thing. But when a president starts abusing his position in order to grant cronies favors, it marks the end of the trust invested in him by his people. He longer represents them, he now represents his selfish desires.
If a president can't stand as example for his followers in this regard, I wonder what else he's got to offer.
