Good morning house. I am a 2014 dv lottery winner. My wife and I migrated July, 2014 leaving our four kids behind in Nigeria because of financial constraints. My kids visa expires in December 15th and I want to know if it is possible to have their visa extended. |

I stand to be corrected, but i dont think the visa can be extended beyound the six month grace. And i guess the visa become in valid if it expires. Pls do everything posible to have them in the states before the visa expiration. johntolu: 1 Like |

[/color][color=#006600] BUSATOS: I want to thank u all for ur responses. I am particularly grateful for the concern showed by Busatos and Shidoshi. My wife and I hv being making efforts since our arrival here, to raise funds for their air fare, but it has not been particularly easy raising the required funds for their fare. The kids are presently staying with my mother in-law in our house in Lagos. We are believing God that they will all make the trip before the expiration of their visas. Wishing everybody in the house a wonderful weekend. |

Who knows, her response might be of benefit to so many parents in our shoes right now and probably, when Nigeria is eligible again to participate in subsequent DV lottery program. |

The weather is getting cold in most places so be prepared, we all should keep ourselves warm as the Winter season would be new to a lot of us (ki Olorun je ki o barawa mu o- some1 shld please translate in English). For those in houston, I found out that the IBC Bank recruits twice monthly and they employ even 'new comers', they'll train u for about 6 weeks so u'll b well equipped to work for them BUT the pay isnt attractive at all! (check www.glassdoor.com for salary range), the good thing though is that they'll give you a chance and it's a start! Take your resume to their HO at 5615 Kirby Drive, Houston TX and ask for Shayla White or to any of their branches around you and ask for the branch manager. ayomaxwell: Reality is the state is dealing with a lot of issues right now. Businesses are crawling due to the ongoing protests. I'll advice you move to another state if possible because even the majority of residents in that state are struggling. You can Google some stuffs about the state for more insights. #mytoken. |
