The successor to the out-going Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Prof Attahiru Jega has being nominated.

The In-coming INEC chairman is Prof Nazim Olufemi Mimiko, a professor of Political Science and International Relation and a former VC of Adekunle Ajasin University, Ondo State.

The embattled Prof Jega who has long compromised his position as INEC Boss, will be officially proceeding on his three months terminal leave with effect from March 1, 2015 in compliance with the civil service procedure.

Congrats Prof Nazim Mimiko!!!

politics of interest aside. ....lets tell ourselves the hard truth......DEMOCRACY MUST NOT BE RIDICULED BY JONATHAN. ....I don't want to be this rumour but if this is real.....I foresee danger,even if GEJ won the incoming election, with all these desperate steps,it might be enough reasons for the opposition to throw the community into chaos,it's very dangerous, JJonathan must not be selfish,he must think of the Nigeria masses who still genuinely support his aspiration that might not be able to able to run,or travel out of the country, who cannot piled up foods to last during the turbulent period and might eventually fall victims of the danger ....posterity will not judge u right if u eventually throw this country into avoidable war,just because of ur selfish interest. ....power don't last for too long but posterity does!!!
