ademega: No government can thwart the will of the people and that is what got us democracy in the first place because the whole country was against Babangida when he perpetrated a similar act. HoweverNigeria is very divided at the moment with the ss/se in alliance and the North and west in another so the feasibility of this is quite gloomy. Jonayhan was also clever enough to buy the so called activists to his side working in their personal vendetta against tinubu and their sheer love of money. He has decapitated OPC where now you have the likes of Gani Adams supporting his government and the stupid Yinka Odumakin and his wife being the mouthpiece for election postponement. Have you seen pastor Bakare come out with vigour like he used to or heard Femi Falana or even Soyinka speak up like before? These people will rather dine with the devil than have Tinubu dictate to them. But it's to their own detriment. The only people who can really oppose him have either been bought or blackmailed. The fight is now down to the masses but I wonder who will take the lead. |

No South Southerner/South Easterner will ever smell the presidency again. Why? They'll always try to dominate the rest of the country or break it. Nigeria is learning a bitter lesson. Surely, we shall overcome. In Jesus' Name. Amen. 2 Likes |

VirginFinder:With such a statement, you think the country will not break? As in you can boldly claim some groups of people will never rule the country and the will sit down fold their arms and watch you rule over them forever? 1 Like |

Desola:Why are you so fidgety about the whole dissolution thing? I don't understand you guys at times. With dissolution, you will get Lagos and the whole of the South west to yourself and you will no longer have to worry about the ''troublesome'' Igbos, no more coming on Nairaland to vent your frustration. So I don't understand the restlessness about the prospect of disintegration of the country. 1 Like |

Seems Nigerians forget so soon the way President Jonathan used soldiers to hound Nigerians during the fuel subsidy protests in January 2012. This same man now using military to conduct elections.. Now using military to monitor Bola Tinubu.. Why is the PDP so scared of losing? If they claim they have done enough to make Nigerians happy, then they should be confident to face the electorate. Seems the military has now become president Jonathan's last joker. After all, he who pays the piper dictates the tune. 2 Likes |

Its a normal reaction from GEJ. Cowards tend to over react when they feel they need to show strength. But we all know GEJ is clueless no matter how many soldiers he posts around the Country. |

Meiji:When a man is desperate for power, he doesnt care anymore about whatever happens. I hope and pray one day that GEJ wont regret what he's doing. because if he wants to go to war and getting to power at all cost he cant survive it. He got there divinely at first, he should allow it to follow its course naturally. |

Collynzo9: Don't flatter yourself. No one wants anything to do with the ibos and this certainly has nothing to do with being fidgety or concern for the dissolution of the entity rather an observation of what is really going on and the miscalculation of the stupid one called jonasatan. If only jonasatan would just come out and call a spade a spade. |

Collynzo9: We Yorubas made GEJ president. Now, he is trying to bite the fingers that fed him. Too bad! He'll learn a bitter lesson, though. Abacha in all his cruelty was taken out. Buhari is popular because of Yoruba support. GEJ should tread softly with we Yorubas else... |

Desola: You just spoke my mind, thats exactly what i tell people who care to listen to the truth, Jonathan has no plan to handover power if Buhari even win by 80%, he will rather split this country and plunge the country into war and division than see Buhari come to power because his cabal are so scared of what Buhari will do to them. 1 Like |
