Addis Ababa -75km -- completed and running =$475m
Lagos Rail- 35km-- Abandoned-- =$1bn
PHC-Monorail- 4Km- Abandoned -- $1bn
Naija is really endowed with thieving politrickians!!
I have the opportunity of watching the documentary while they are building the rail line, they use direct labour and Local content, instead of paying money to foreign company, most of the tracks are lay by Ethiopia's engineer's and you can Google it on youtube, this are some of the things we needs to be doing in Nigeria

Landlocked and without crude oil, Ethiopia shows that it is not about what you don't have but what you can do with the things you have.

Nigeria is doomed for failure, a conundrum! with myriads of nations entrapped within a geographical entity, the politicians have it easy looting their way to the bank.

Didn't we see in the past, what Kigali Rwanda was able to achieve in terms of infrastructural development, with almost the same amount of money Amaechi presided over in Rivers state, yet PH remains underdeveloped.

It's indefensible to bill a state $1bn for a-4km monorail that's abandoned neither is incomprehensible to bill a $1Bn for a-35km rail that is also abandoned.. Same Chinese built the same trains and tracks; trained Ethiopians in China and transferred technology.. BtW, LASG is going to bring to used locomotives when completed.

Take your PDP and political talk away from here, this is not about politics but our National Shame.
APC in Lagos and Rivers Have rail projects ongoing for several years now how many have they completed?

At least the PDP has successfully rehabilitated the Kano - lagos and Port harcourt to Gombe railway while Kaduna to Abuja standard railway line has been completed. What has APC completed in terms of rail.
Firstly, what you said is wrong. I don't have the facts to rebutt the Lagos and rivers projects but seeing your obvious display of sheer ignorance and arrant political bigotry makes me absolutely sure you just 'spark'.

You attacked Lag and rivers(just lyk many other pro-PDP) because u perceived it to be APC's strongholds. Many says Fashola is exceptional and allege Amaechi of being APC's cash cow. Let's stop playing politics of hate. All we want is a better Nigeria.

How can you compare the Federal government's projects with those of states. Those projects u said were completed by PDP are FG projects if u don't knw. You knw how much tax being paid in the whole country a day? Do u knw how much barrels of oil we sell per day? Not to mention other sources.

And for your info and d one I know for sure, Aregbesola commisioned a railway project during his first time in office. To help goods nd pple movement to and from Lagos to oshogbo. GEJ's train and Osun's train aint different at all.

Let's face it my dear, we are being shortchanged. Those projects up there are in million dollars not billions o. GEJ has his own good sides too, bt it's far below average and it's what every other man who comes to power will do.

I really hope we all look at things as a Nigerian and not as a political supporter/affiliate.

I have high hopes u've gotten my points wink

The underlined shows how ignorant you are, stop projecting your ignorance on me. i speak with facts not rumours. OSUN state under rauf is yet to tar a single km of road to international Standard not to talk of embarking on a rail project.

Lagos and Port harcourt has revenue and GDP thats higher than that of many african countries including ethiopia hence the comparison.and they also feature in my radar because they are the only state that has rail projects ongoing and they have sofar each spent more on their projects which are of lesser scope and quality than Addis Ababa light rail. the difference being Ethiopian train are running while the rivers, and lagos rail are sinkholes for corrupt politician to steal from their state treasuries with no completion date in sight.

If you knew how to read with comprehension, you would have also noticed that Abuja Light rail An FG project also featured in my critic.
