This unfortunate incident happened yesterday evening around 7pm in Asaba, Delta state. According to eyewitnesses, the PHCN guy went up the electric pole without gloves to reconnect a personal client and got electrocuted. I'm sorry about his death. But isn't that unmitigated negligence if he's really a PHCN staff? On a lighter note, until I looked closely, I'd thought the peace sign he involuntarily made using his fingers was a growth of sorts from his brain as a result of the electrocution. |
