When you see a stone rolling under gravity towards a tree, its logical enough to conclude that "the rate @ which the stone is rolling, it will hit the tree"... There is nothing false in drawing a conclusion based on facts on ground... tongue

What will your story then be called, when you rush to town saying "the stone hit the tree", while I had stopped it on it's tracks just after you'd gone?

Good morning to you too my brother, sincerely,I've never had such experience but going through their scripts and seeing how much they strive to give their best makes me admire them and gives me the confidence that I am doing my job well. Even with my little pay,I go home everyday with so much fulfillment knowing I have made an impact in the life of my students. May God continue to be our strength. Syncan, always remember me in your prayers.
Syncan:
From today's Gospel (Mk 7:31-37)

"Their admiration was unbounded. ‘He has done all things well,’ they said"

When last did you have this feeling, eh Mzflexydeeva, the feeling of having a new cloth sewn to perfection? Peppyluv dear, when last did a you mark a student's script who got all answers right? Have you had such a feeling damerry, where an issue that has caused much anxiety was resolved completely? I'm sure ChineloSA can identify with a parent; watching the child perform a breathtaking acrobatic display in a school event without error. That feeling of fulfillment, relief, lightheartedness, joy, confidence, pride, security, gratitude etc depending on the circumstance is always awesome. You can begin to imagine how the people felt, as they watched our Lord Jesus heal their sick in numbers. They were overwhelmed in admiration.

Isn't our lives often filled with anxiety? Will i be able to pass this exam, or get pregnant, or get this job, or get married this year, or get money for lunch today, or reach my destination safely? Too many things cause us to be anxious, yet we've never heard of anxiety bringing a solution. It often rather lead to desperation and subsequently calamity if not curbed. Oh how happy is he who is able to sing in the face of anxiety "que sera sera", Yes, what will be; will be dear brethren, Just put your trust in Him and accept His will in your life. Do you not know that our God does not tamper with the joy of His children; except to give them a greater happiness? He who forgives sins and bring lasting joy can do all things. Be assured, He will do all things well for you.

Good morning brethren, a splendid day ahead to all.

thank you for this great message. Our lives as we know isn't ours. The will of God be done to us. Appreciating God for all He's doing and hoping for the grace to be better not just for me but those around me

From Today's Gospel Mk 8:1-10 Feast of St. Cyril and Methodius.

A great crowd had gathered, and they had nothing to eat. So Jesus called his disciples to him and said to them, ‘I feel sorry for all these people; they have been with me for three days now and have nothing to eat. If I send them off home hungry they will collapse on the way; some have come a great distance

When last did you feel compassion on another's condition. That feeling...when Trendytessy sees a beggar with triplets, When rich4god visits the poor widow with six children during an apostolate, When babestell think about the condition of the chibok girls now, When Vest pays a visit to the hospital and sees the condition of some patients, When SalC recalls the sight of the displaced kids in refugee camps at the middle east, Yes Yes when last did you feel sorry to see the poor living condition of some neighbours. Each time this happens beloved brethren, you are more and more like Jesus the master.

....Then he instructed the crowd to sit down on the ground, and he took the seven loaves, and after giving thanks he broke them and handed them to his disciples to distribute; and they distributed them among the crowd.

The Lord did not only feel sorry, He actually acted, He did something to help. My compassion for an old woman with a heavy luggage avails her nothing if I lift no finger to ease her burden. Today the world celebrates valentine's day, a day when we attach undue importance to things such as a bottle of perfume, a pair of slippers, a cup of ice cream, oh, and even an icon of e-flowers, Lol. Today I'll rather we love ourselves, Yes I said "love yourself". Seek to gain your soul and not the world! How do you do this you may ask? Use today to act upon those compassionate feelings, do something charitable, there's a neighbor to assist financially, there's one to encourage and prayed for in the hospital, there's a beggar to surprise with an unusual amount, there's Syncan to pray for, and oh...eternal rest grant them O lord....there is the holy souls in Purgatory; needing Mass to be said for them, a short prayer of supplication on their behalf, Indeed they need all these good works and prayers dedicated to God on their behalf. When you do this, favour becomes yours, you get yourself prepared for heaven, where nothing unclean shall enter Rev21:27, Amen Amen, so shall it be with you, for Charity covereth a multitude of sin 1Pet 4:8

'Let us also love our neighbors as ourselves. Let us have charity and humility. Let us give alms because these cleanse our souls from the stains of sin. Men lose all the material things they leave behind them in this world, but they carry with them the reward of their charity and the alms they give. For these they will receive from the Lord the reward and recompense they deserve.' .......St. Francis of Assisi

Bless the Lord, my soul! Lord God, how great you are, clothed in majesty and glory, wrapped in light as in a robe!

Indeed O Lord, Indeed I say. Aunty debbie, nwanyi oma, like your baby look to you for food when hungry, don't we all look to God for our daily bread? We cultivate, yes we cultivate, and we sit and wait on Him, when He gives in due season and the quantity He gives, dearest italo, the fiery vincentian, don't we take? Who dictates to the Lord in these, when He feeds the raven and clothes the Lily, Francistony; double saint, who was there to direct Him? You take back your spirit, they die, returning to the dust from which they came. You send forth your spirit, they are created; and you renew the face of the earth.
Who is like our God? Jnrbayano my brother, who is it that can send one to his grave and back? Abeg help me ask jennydoris if she knows who else apart from our God. Let songs of praise go to Him whose spirit sustains creature, bluerange; Ada Jesus, He by whose grace saints are made deserves our praise not so? Rich4god nwanne m, Isn't God worthy of all adoration? What is Man that he loves him, mortal man that he cares for him? Beloved sisters MariaGorreti, trendytessy, stunningjudy, Ify124, tell me if He that turns dust to beauty is not worthy of our praise.
