The objectives of the US military presence in Africa are well documented: counter Chinese influence and control strategic locations and natural resources including oil reserves. This was confirmed more than 8 years ago by the US State Department:Source: http://www.globalresearch.ca/is-boko-haram-a-cia-covert-op-to-divide-and-conquer-africa/5431177 Thoughts? |

All I have to say is this... It is time we Africans learned to blame ourselves for our mistakes.....and not outside forces. At the rate we are going.....it would soon become the CIA's fault if we did not get that dream job, or that car, or that girl/guy, or pass our exams. Boko haram is our fault. We did not plan well enough for the youth of this country. We looted the money that would have been spent on amking people's lives better. We lie, cheat and sin. No wonder we have Boko and even Millitants and kidnappers. But no....they are all CIA plots. Perhaps it is because we cannot face the truth. We have met the enemy...and he is us. Let's clean up our house,ok? |

Seriously??........see wetin 'Jack Bauer mentality cause'...Op seems to have watched too many Spy and Terrorism movies. On a serious note, it might all be coincidences....i mean the events you summed up to get your conclusion. I think Bokoharam is just an extremist group with no affliation with CIA. |

Yet again clueless Africans blaming outsiders for their problems. Your main problems in Africa is greed and religion, it limits your rational thinking. |

It could very well be using arab connection. That was why Obama forecasted Nigeria Divide and US stayed completely from helping Nigeria. |

All these is of no use now, they already got us where they want us, they already got the people's mindset structured how they want it, we the people have blindly choosen our enemies as leaders. There is something going on, the knowledge of this would alarm enlightened Nigerians, but when it finally gets exposed as most things of that nature usually goes Nigerians will be in no position to do anything. I pity Northern Nigeria and the Middle Belt, they will be butchered as never was done Before. I pity the Igbos, business which is their backbone will be destroyed and grounded by multinational favouring policies and bans, they will for the second time experience excruciating poverty where nobody will hear their story. |

You are naive not to realise that neo-colonialists are fighting to hold Africa down. Do you think it is a coincidence that every effective African leader in history do not last long in office before they are assassinated or forcefully overthrown? There is a stat that shows in last 10years 90% of world leaders that die in office are from Africa. You can bet that vast majority of them were patriotic and competent. Before you can fix a problem you need to first identify and acknowledge it. bushdoc9919: |

bushdoc9919:It is time dumb Africans like yourself learnt to consider ALL POSSIBILITIES and PROBABILITIES instead of playing DUMB to the powerful external forces that may be helping jeopardize your future. How do you know there is no CIA plot against Nigeria? At least the op's source did some research. What have you got apart from blind faith in the innocence of 'whitey'? At least op is using his brain. Are you? If there happens to be an external plot to destroy this country, how will you tackle it by playing Mr blind and dumb trust oyibo pass my papa? Fact is unless you can categorically respond to the op's post point by point, you should simply keep shut and accept its possibility. |

The way it looks now is that the west used the opposution and some nothern elements with the promise of getting them to power, but now they are not even interested in controlling Nigeria anymore they just want to balkanise it |

ChimaAgbalajob:Many people clamour for Division because they believe it's the solution to some of our problems as a country , they could be right and in some cases surely right, But it is not the Solution to All our problems especially the most pronounced sorts. The question we would ask is , is the multi ethnics composition of Nigeria the reason why we could not choose a good leader for ourselves and the good patriotic ones whom fate has brought our way never lasts long enough, either assassinated or overthrown. when you try to answer this question you will find out why most enlightened individuals does not support division under the parameters set by the West, rather they seek division without western influence, on conditions which is wholly designed by us. If we allow the west to divide us on THEIR OWN TERMS those same problem will follow each and every nation that came out of Nigeria, Neocolonialism will be well embedded in our government not just because we are not the masters of our own nation but because we rely on the west for the existence of our nations. there will still be corruption, there will still be assassination and overthrow of honest concerned leaders, there would still be forced interference in our local affairs by nations who don't share the same ideologies, culture and aspirations as us and it's never in their agenda to see a prosperous African nation. Nigeria was never meant to be a nation, we were different nations forcefully amalgamated for the interest of the Imperialists , we would be stupid to be balkanized for the interest of the Imperialists. What i fear most is the situation whereby Nigeria gets divided into several nations each falling into perpetual enemity and mistrust, each suspecting the other for his security woes, with no agenda for unity of purpose, each RELYING ON THE WEST FOR ARMS AND ADVICE TO PROTECT HIMSELF FROM THE OTHER WHOM HE PERCEIVES AS HIS ENEMY AND EACH RELYING ON THE WEST AND WESTERN INSTITUTIONS AS THE ARBITER DURING CONFRONTATIONS, AS A RESULT EACH WILL BE SELLING OUT IT'S PEOPLE, GIVING AWAY RESOURCES MEANT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE NATION, SUPPORT UNFAIR POLICIES JUST TO BE IN THE GOOD BOOKS OF THE WEST. Only God knows how much i fear this scenario and we are getting close to it. |

GenBuhari , Igbo2011 please read this wikileaks document of 2003 after that tell me what you think might be going on in Nigeria concerning same Tinubu and US rooting for Buhari https://www.wikileaks.org/plusd/cables/03LAGOS369_a.html |
| Re: Is Boko Haram A CIA Covert Op To Divide And Conquer Africa? by Nobody: 12:10pm On Feb 16, 2015 |
Having read, the piece, I think that what it claimed Tinubu said about Buhari was not fair although with Thief Obasanjo controlled press at the time having unfairly labeled Buhari religious extremist, it's possible Tinubu was referring to public perception of Buhari at that time rather than his own perception. I see nothing out of the ordinary about Tinubu being in the same camp as Buhari today. After all he has had years to witness how Buhari has huge popularity so Tinubu should see him as a valuable partner in a merger aimed unseating the ruling party incumbent president. Regarding USA supporting Buhari, I think that USA does not support Buhari despite its public implied support. The tens of billions USA is making from corruption in Nigeria under PDP clueless governments makes it illogical that they would support Buhari who is likely to end their ability to profit from our corruption. My view is that USA is making public statements that may be interpreted as implied support for Buhari because behind the scenes they are covertly working to stop Buhari, this way they may deflected suspicion when Buhari is eventually stopped, just in the same way that Thief Obasanjo and Evil IBB who are probably in the know about plans to prevent Buhari presidency are also keen to show fake public implied support for Buhari to clear them of suspicion for whatever role they are playing to prevent a very popular Buhari victory in the elections. thoth: |

@GenBuhari the west is not interested in stopping Buhari, infact stopping him is not part of their objective, their objective is the disintegration of Nigeria. |
| Re: Is Boko Haram A CIA Covert Op To Divide And Conquer Africa? by Nobody: 1:20pm On Feb 16, 2015 |
I agree but they know with Buhari in power it would be more difficult for them to disintegrate Nigeria. Which is why America is secretly in approval of elections postponement. thoth: |

GenBuhari:I really love your objective thinking, and your loyalty to Buhari but you know Buhari so well, that he is a hands off manager and his relationship with Tinubu and OBJ is what they have in common. All three are economic hitmen. Tinubu because of his deal he cut during his case in Maryland, he was let go and put to work. What do you think they learn in war college abroad? How to move weapons and keep the masses suppressed. How is the VP qualified to join Buhari when he was the attorney general that helped hand over the papers to the Lagos Government lodge and other real estate, to Tinubu's private conglomerate? |
