She is so unwise, I wouldn't return it if I find that kind of money.... Mainly because, a legitimate traveller would not carry money as huge as that around. The owner of the money is probably a politician (looter) or a scammer, either ways, the money is not from a clean source, so why would I return it? and forget all religious consequences please, I have heard enough of it. |

Another Nigerian returned about £78k equivalent (in various currencies) he found in a telephone boot. That was in the 1990s here in Europe. A very nice guy with 3 or 4 kids and a wife back in 9ja. I still remember many of our friends telling him his people in the village had followed him to Europe. Determined to make him remain poor. Every time I tell people this incident, 90% don't believe. They say a 9ja man, an Igbo for that matter, cannot return such money.  Fact is some people, irrespective of tribe or nationality, can be extremely honest. 2 Likes |
