Sorry, I meant political undertone. The Nigerian military is undergoing a major overhaul and that includes the navy. If they purchase gunboats, I think we should be appreciate it because on most occasions, moneys released for such ventures end up in the pocket of individuals

At this stage purchasing a salvage boat is a no no start build practice makes perfect give idle hands work to do, brains skill to learn then you will have an industry

The Nigerian navy is already building ships such as with the NNS Andoni which was the first warship built in west Africa, refurbishing ships such as with the NNS Argungu which was refurbished by A and C engineering in lagos. I believe its just a matter of time before we begin building Nimitz-class ships such as aircraft carriers. Lolz. Anyways, we'll get there someday. Of our military, its the navy that gives me the most joy.
And we're expected to take delivery of 3 submarines from China in 2017

So its a War truckIts the USS nimitz (not sure) aircraft carrier and its a warship as it has its own defenses and missile defenses also apart from the fighters it carries..Nairaland sha
