berem:^^^^ Dumb. Instead of PDP buying the PVC of a Lagosian whom they are very sure will not vote for them, they are buying the PVC's of non indigenes who might likely vote them. |

tolextony:While i do not fully support GEJ, some of the above are true and many arguments irrational. It makes me wonder what future lies ahead for youths that cannot accept better reason and better sense of judgement. Many resort to name calling and insults and are even ready to fight and kill. Unfortunately, they forget that they will not be remembered should war or even minor fracas break out. They also forget that these politicians would settle between themselves soon after. Hmmm! |

What is right is right. They equally have a right to vote. When this was first said in January some loud mouthed overzealous miscreants affiliated to APC were shouting "PDP/GEJ propaganda" now it is in the open, they are still castigating. In as much as we are affiliated to different political parties, we should try and fight for the common good. "What is good for the goose is good for the gander" |

i am an indigene of lagos state. Full blooded indigene from badagry. I am yet to collect my PVC and am not making a hell of a noise about it. INEC sure has some issues with this PVC distribution but attributing it to indigene/non indigene bullshit is totally wrong. |

Inec has deliberately made pvc collection in the south more difficult than in the north. Inec officials practically go to houses or send people to them to hand over pvcs in the north. In the south. .. different story. 30,000 polling units in the north... 12,000 in all of the south. Who does jega work for? |

I am an indigene of LAGOS STATE. I also do not have PVC yet. I have gone there many times. I spoke to INEC official yesterday. She asked me to check again, same as she has been saying since December. INEC should do something quick about Lagos situation. Indigenes and non indigenes alike are affected, so no one should tribalise this. |

what the hell is wrong with that sadist fashola the igbo hater? fashola should as a matter of urgency deliver my brothers and sisters PVCs to them to vote Jimi Agbaje and GEJ, or be prepared to take responsibility for the outcome of his favouritism |

=Imagine the security implication of disenfranchising eligible voters in Nigeria. =Imagine the kind of protest,violent/peaceful demonstration, chaos and court cases that would have rocked the Nigeria state =Imagine terrorists hi jacking post election protests for their own gains. These and more were what the security brass saw and clamoured for election postponement. But some Nigerians refused to see reasons with them cz of political affiliations. the PVC is key to a good poll. LETS HAVE A POSTPONED BUT FREE,FAIR,CREDIBLE AND VIOLENCE FREE POLLS THAN A SHABBY AND QUESTIONABLE ELECTION AS EARLIER SCHEDULED BY "eye-neck". Udo! |

holatin:Who is afraid of the votes from Igbos and other non-indigenes in Lagos and the southwest in general? We know who campaigned desperately for the elections to hold on the 14th of february, knowing fully well that they had compromised the PVC collection process in Lagos. APC obviously wants to rig out GEJ using the PVC collection crisis across the entire country. If they will not commit to a free, fair credible and violence free election, then they should be ready for what awaits them. IT is either Jega and his INEC resolves this issue immediately or we can all get ready for another postponement of the elections in addition to the removal of Jega. Evil party and their evil plans to disenfranchise voters based on religion and ethnicity.God will punish anybody who is trying to disenfranchise others from participating in this elections. |

Wit little or no achievement to point to, dis govt can only rely on politics of division & bigotry to rally d misguided band of bigots. What makes d PDP think dat non-indegenes will vote 4 GEJ when even d south/south is regretting voting 4 someone dat has shown clearly dat he lacks d bandwidth to run a country as intricate & complex as nigeria. GEJ will go down as d most divisive leader in nigerian history. He inherited a nation in times of relative peace & plenty but turned it to one of more divisiveness & a veritable factory 4 producing more tribal & religious bigots & a nightmare 4 d poor. It is shameful dat d dysfunctional PDP continues to encourage division in lagos state by insisting dat there's a deliberate ploy to disenfranchise non-indegenes. Stop d division. Many voters in lagos state haven't got their PVCs, period. |

Some politicians are bent on destroying and dividing this country. I know lots of Lagos indegenes who haven't received their PVC,i also know lots of non-indegenes who have picked up their PVC. Infact in ogun state few PVC are available for collection resulting in only 40% collection rate yet they haven't started indegenes protest. I would have loved to see an all inclusive protest to but some are already tribalising this. When was the Lagos state Union of non - indegenes formed? Nigerians and deceit everywhere. |
