its nice to know that there are guys with similar interests out there. this nikon d80 is a conventional cam, or digita? i''ll advice you step up. some schools offer photography as part of their curriculum, but not as stand alone, the best you can get is tutelage from someone already in there.
Re: Photography Newbie: Any School Of Photography In Nigeria by Rodent: 1:27pm On Apr 04, 2007
No school will teach you how to have an 'eye', possibly composition rules and guidelines but the best way is to go out there and snap away. Buy a decent book pick up tips like the rule of thirds etc which will improve your composition, learn how your camera works and shot on

Enjoy!
to y'all i'd love to see some of the pix u've taken

You need to be passionate about photography, but you can train your eyes to see better. I am reading a book that is very good in creative photography. If interested, you may get in touch.

The question asked is "Do YOU do photography classes?" It isn't a rocket science question!

D80 Nikon camera is out dated, you better step up to something like D90 or higher or opt for d canon or sony DSLR caneras, buy your speedlight, batteries, then study your camera manual and start shooting but if you feel you want to put the stress on some one else to lecture you about photography or videography? I recommend Gaff Multimedia, based in Port Harcourt, check their works and contact @ http://www.gaffmultimedia.com

Hey Guys, it's no scam. You'd all agree with me that there's almost very no Photography school that'll give you an overly fair knowledge of photography that'll give you that basic confidence you need without drilling a permanent hole in you purse. I have a 12GB worth of photography lecture, A five day workshop and each day lasts up to 5Hrs teaching you all about photography.
