It may seem far away, but I tell you, MARCH 23 is just somewhere around the corner. i am not one but one of my ex-roomies is in physiotherapy and apart from the normal physics, chemistry and zoology science students take, they also take courses like statistics, computer science and psychology in 100l.....that dept is one the depts in CBN that offers the highest no of units...infact they offer the highest.

Newly admitted students of the University of Ibadan for the 2014/2015 Academic Session should note the procedures involved with the yearly students screening exercise and adhere strictly to them. These include:
1. Download Student Medical Examination Form from the Internet and complete it.
2. Chest Xray with a Radiologist’s report duly stamped and signed by a Radiologist MUST be donebefore the commencement of the screening exercise from the approved X-ray Centres.
3. Report at the approved Screening Centres for Screening and Registration with the completed medical examination form, Chest Xray with a radiologist’s report.
B) COMMENCEMENT OF SCREENING
STUDENTS MEDICAL SCREENING FOR THE 2014/2015 SESSION.
The 2014/2015 Students Medical Screening for the newly admitted students of the University of Ibadan will tentatively run from 23rd March 2015 and end 3rd of April 2015 from 9am to 2pm daily.
The new intakes are to have their Chest X-rays done at the APPROVEDX-RAY CENTRES before the commencement of the screening exercise. They are to report at the DESIGNATED VENUES for screening with their Chest X-rays and the Student Medical Examination Form which has been downloaded from the Internet.
The designated venues for the screening exercise are:
VENUES FACULTY University Ibadan Health Service, University of Agriculture and Forestry Basic Medical Sciences Pharmacy Veterinary Medicine New Hall Sports Complex along ObafemiAwolowo Science Technology Womens’ Law Clinic, Faculty of Law Law Social Sciences Youth Friendly Centre along Technology Road Education Arts
Students from Faculties of Agric, Basic Medical Sciences, Pharmacy and Veterinary Medicine to be screened at the University Health Service are to visit the ABADINA HEALTH POST beside the Diamond FM Station first for their height, weight and blood pressure measurements before presenting at the University Health Service for review by the doctors and data capture.
A Mop-up Screening Exercise would be on these Saturdays (April 4th, April 11th and April 18th) at the University Health Service from 9am to 2pm for students who missed the main screening exercise.

From what has been posted on the University Website www.portal.ui.edu.ng, it is now certain that the University Medical Screening will start on MARCH 23, which is the resumption date. Also from the posts, the university has stated some approved hospitals where your X-ray could be carried out. The instruction also demands you to do your X-ray anytime before March 23 when the Medical Registration will tentatively kick off.
