but in other countries

there's a difference between the two.

you can or might need to beg for favours though, eg job, etc.

but last time i checked, poverty is embarrassing, however its not a crime, abi its a crime where you come from? huh

Op, you are not far from the truth. But you see, those countries got what is called "GOVERNMENT" they got benefits reserved the poor, the unemployed, handicapped, all these where from tax payers money.

So it's citizens has no excuse to beg. In fact in the country where I live, it is against the law for any citizen to harass other citizen in the name of begging. You can call the cops for that. That beggar will be punished according to the law.

So if such is not provided for Nigerian by its Government, what would they do?
