- Those who were found not to be complicit to the massive corruption were release after it was investigated. Even in Democracy, Police have the right to detain you during investigations (the law say 48hrs, in practice I have seen people detained up to 3 months - the #EkitiGates Colonel's brother comes to mind).

- Those who were duly tried and jailed for stealing deserves no apology.

If I may add , how does it compare to the lawlessness and impunity we are witnessing under the PDP government where corruption is encouraged and supported by the president?

You my friend need the education. Civil Court as opposed to Military Court. There is nothing like Criminal Court in Nigeria, rather you we have Criminal trial in Civil Courts.
