vicadex07: The emboldened portion of your long talk: All along, the fight against Boko Haram was being sabotaged by too many Nigerian groups who share same religious belief with Boko Haram fighters. Boko Haram had severally stated that it is fighting for a country friendly with obsolete sharia criminal laws like stoning women to death for adultery, chopping off hands of petty thieves, etc. About the year 2000, about 12 northern Nigeria states adopted such obsolete and unconstitutional sharia criminal laws into their legal systems. In fact, they inadvertently drew the borders for a new country from Nigeria with that act. Like customary Laws, Sharia Civil Laws have been in Nigeria's constitution long before then; not sharia criminal laws. In 2001, Muhammadu Buhari, during a speech in Kaduna charged Muslims to ensure that such obsolete and unconstitutional sharia criminal laws be implemented all over Nigeria. Since then, Boko Haram has intensified its violence against Nigeria. Buhari at one time argued for Boko Haram, and said that they are freedom fighters, and asked that the group be granted amnesty, only for him to recant a few days ago in the UK that he would not grant amnesty to the group if he becomes president of Nigeria. At one point, senior officers of Nigerian Army were threatened with prosecution at The Hague for using what was seen by many as scorched-earth approach to combat Boko Haram. Amnesty International screamed Blue Murder. Recently, International Forces joined Nigeria Army in the fight against Boko Haram, that must have emboldened Nigerian forces to commit to a bigger fight knowing full well that such threats like prosecution at The Hague may no longer crop up given that multi-national forces are now involved. You pretend a lot as if you are a JJC to Nigeria. You do not preach for change from fry pan to fire. 7 Likes |

The big man is on point, actually nothing will happen if opposition loses. Another point he spoke about that interest me most is the version of change that APC are chanting, it's double suspicious and coated with sugar but lack basic ingredients and substance. No sane and historic students of this nation will support the kind of change the opposition preaches base on the fact that their antecedents falls below pass mark, filled with deception and as such should be rejected and oppose by any well meaning citizens of this nation. Like I had always said before, opposition is good any progressive minded nation but then looking at the crop of opposition we have in our polity the reverse is case. They are selfish and unpatriotic in their dealings, for instance the issue of national security is a collective responsibility not the sole responsibility of the government but when they criticize they will flog it out of proportion and it's not healthy for our economy and especially in our international repute. Besides, issues of these nature are best handled diplomatically because it scared investors. However, I will still like to give kudos to the opposition for keeping the government at its toes, today this administration achieved what we have on grounds today especially on our transportation sector, agriculture, power etc was as a result of opposition. As a concerned Nigerian, I support continuity and stability considering the fact that this administration has performed considerable well and still having some projects ongoing which by grace of God could be completed before next four years. lets give them that benefits of doubt and after we will give opposition chance. When elements in GEJ’s government (Okupe, Fayose and FFK) vowed GMB will never become president, do not think they were bluffing. They are working day and night to make this a reality. They have devised several plans which have been neutralized in the past. Thanks to the proactive measures of some patriotic citizens. Please be informed that this government has not relented. New plans are being devised on a daily basis. The new plans are as follows. Please read and share widely. The idea is to let them know their plans have leaked. Firstly, there are plans in the offing to impeach Rotimi Ameachi by hook or crook in a few days. This is to incapacitate him in many ramifications and as the campaign director of GMB Presidential campaign destabilize GMB’s campaign in general. Secondly, suspects in prison for the murder of Funsho Williams are being primed to confess they were sent by Bola Tinubu. They have been promised heaven on earth even in prison if they can implicate him. The plan is to blackmail him into submission or at the very least distract him with a nauseous court case. It has been alleged GEJ met him in Badagry when he visited Lagos and tried to convince him to back out from supporting GMB. He was told he is number one on the list compiled by the General of those to be probed once he becomes President. Let it be known to all that Jagaban is under intense pressure at the moment to betray GMB. Lets pray this does not happen. (To be fair to him, he has not succumbed yet) Nigerians must know the country at the moment is prostrate in a cesspit of corruption dug by a few. It is so humongous; Nigerians will shudder when they know the full details. And GEJ has been taken hostage by the monstrous clique of corrupt people responsible for this mess. Ordinarily, GEJ is willing to relinquish power if he losses. But these corrupt people have planted fear in him that GMB will send him to jail once he becomes President and discovers the level of rot in the system. That is why he is fighting tooth and nail to remain president. This much has been alluded to by General Obasanjo. We must remain vigilant and be at alert. Do not ever disregard any information at this time. This government is capable of anything to sustain the status quo. They have the resources to accomplish much. The fake Shekau option has been discarded because it was leaked last week. The aforementioned plans among others are the new plans. The ‘ekitigate’ style is still very much on the table. You can see how it was tactically nipped in the bud at the House of Rep sitting last week. There is still about 4wks to go before the elections. If one hour is a long time in politics you can imagine what 4wks will be. The ‘election will never hold’ plan is still alive depending on the success of their plans to weaken GMB’s campaign and decimate his support base in the coming weeks. If the plans succeed, elections may hold. If it does not, the ING contraption may be employed. Eternal vigilance is the price for freedom!. All eyes must be on this government and even on some elements in APC! 2 Likes |

This is my take on this election issue, please excuse the typo as I am using my phone to type this . I am not a politician and the truth I won't be voting cos am in diaspora, but I stand to be corrected by the political gurus here. I am being bombarded daily with campaign from both parties and the content of these campaigns are either Buhari don't have certificate or SSCE or whatever they call it or Jonathan and his cohorts are corrupt. I am yet to see campaign based on proper policies or manifesto rather it's image smearing, intimidation, bribery I see taking place. I live in the UK and at campaign here you here the politicians talk about how they will invest more in the health service, reduce the national debt, invest in education, employment, infrastructure, defence, research etc I lived in Nigeria for about 23 years and in all those years I never saw electricity constant for just one complete day yet Nigeria get billions from oil revenue, see what oil revenue has been used to achieve in a place like Dubai , universities are churning out thousands of graduate every year with no employment prospects, the roads are death traps, countless number of sick people are dying from simple procedures at the hospital, a common ceaseran section you are looking at a 50 50 chance of survival, general hispitals are more like a place where you get sentenced to death, teachers are not being paid for months and months and are expected to keep teaching, universities go on strikes for up to 2 or 3 years sometimes, enough to complete a degree, police are ill equiped to confront criminals and now Boko Haram are ravaging the country at will sometimes overrunning barracks, pensioners not getting paid. The list is endless and all I hear is he has certificate he does not have certificate, he will throw corrupt people in jail, Jonathan is corrupt, this and that,Billions disappeared with no trace, your annual salary plus allowances is 20 million naira in 4 year if you don't spend a penny out of it you should have 80 million naira oh no what do we have with most nigerian politician.. at the end of 4 years they have 90 billion dollars in the states, 200 million pounds in the UK, countless houses in South Africa dubai and Switzerland.... mathematically impossible even with compound interest . Jonathan you have been president for 4 years, did you forget to do something and now need another 4 years, tell us the policies you plan to implement, Buhari you were once head of state too, with almost total power and what did you do, oh I forgot War against indiscipline, you this WAI thing was not a bad idea then but the implementation was inhamanely carried out, citizens were living in fear almost held captive in their own home, barbaric ally implemented.maybe with an SSCE you would have been able to devise a better way to implement it, but no. We had intellectuals, humanist, socialist you could have consulted on the best way to implement it but no treating citizens as animal was your best idea. I WEEP for Nigeria and Nigerian, you are now being given recharge cards, onions and rice to get your vote and mortgage yours and your children future. Which way Nigeria; use your vote to decide your future, hold the aspirant to account, ask to see their policies and manifesto and there should be provision to be able to impeached any politician who does not deliver on their manifesto, challenge the aspirants to go on national TV to debate each other on policies and not mere where is your certificate and it's with babagida or with the army... With over 200 million people, we have a crop of smart intelligent men and women in Nigeria and yet we are presented with a choice between Buhari and Jonathan both of whom had had their go at ruling this great nation, there must be better options, CHANGE yes that is what i will call CHANGE a new face, new idealogy not same from the past. We are forced to choose between an orange and a mango but the truth is i dont want neither i want a pear. but unfortunately come march an orange or a mango will be forced down my throat. but hey what do I know, I am not a politician.
