SanDisk stuns us with a massive 200GB micro SD card which is the next big thing when it comes to storage media. 2GB, 4GB, 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, 128GB and then 200GB?

Anyway, official specs say:
- Can hold up to 20 hours of Full HD Video
- Transfers up to 12,000 photos in 60 seconds at a top speed of 90MB/s
- Comes with SD card adapter for MIL cameras
- Water-proof, Temperature-proof, X-ray proof & Magnet-proof.

....so they said.
This is a great little accessory but the price scares me (you too probably?). We hear it will be available this year from Quarter 2 and it will go for $400; roughly N80,000 when you hit your calculator @ N200/dollar.

If you use a device that worth N25,000 and you buy this SD card at $400 because you need to store every movie in this world on your phone, I leave your case to yourself

Well, a few reports say that devices that support 128GB SD card have similar architecture that will support this one. Won't be dedicated though.

if a 64 gig flash drive on aliexpress costs a paltry N3,000 why would i want to spend N80k to buy a 200 gig memory card? mbanu

i dont know of any phone yet that is compatible with 200gb micro sd.so what is the point.
