 Postinor-1, is it safe to be taken? my Girl took two ( postinor-1) .almost 24hrs after sex. the next day she complian of headache, abdominal pains, and dizzyness. , Will it work? |

She should have taken Postinor 2 and not Postinor 1.Postinor 1 has a high failure rate compared to Postinor 2.Since she took 2 tablets 24 hours after ,I don't think you should worry.The headaches and abdominal pain might not be related to the drug but even f it is,there is nothing to worry about.You can wait for a while and do a pregnancy test,maybe after 1 or 2 weeks. |

Postinor 2 works better and is very efficient. I have used it before. It is to be taken within 72 hours after intercourse at an interval of 12 hours. It is 90% effective. |

yeah the drug is cool,postinor 1 should be taken immediately after intercourse while the two is an emergency contraceptive which works till after 72 hours of intercourse,i hope she is safe but if she is not you can send me a mail on ujuzubis@yahoo.com for a tip. |

i took postinor 2 on a monday eve and tues morning. 4 days later (saturday) i had my period (2 days late). now its friday and am still having my period something which i havent experienced in the past. most times its 4 or 5 days but now its almost 7. is this a side effect. and i have been having these headaches and dizziness since. is that also normal |

Its like this: Postinor 1 must be taken within 1 hour after having sex. The 1st pill immediately,and the 2nd pill 3o-45 mins later. Postinor 2 is for within 24hrs of having sex. Its efficiency reduces after that time,so be smart and be fast. As to the side effects,they vary in people,but the problem is that even when the pill was ingested late and conception has already occured,it will still show the same side effects in a non pregnant female. Do the right thing at the right time or better yet,break out the condoms! |
