IMO.....we don't have the facilities in our universities to do cutting edge research. That is how Ebola caught us off guard....because we do not have the facilities to do research there.

And if our universities are sooo fantastic....why are thousands of Nigerians....and not just the rich....heading out of the country for studies?




Oh no I won't. The issue.....which BTW you and the opposition won't face....is that the 1.3 trillion you boast about...or the original 3 trillion....isn't enough. We may need to increase fees....especially since we now have 10 new burdens courtesy of your leadership. (OBJ , crude though he was...had the decency to allow for the establishment of private universitiies....so that govt does not have new burdens).

Again.....that 1.3 trillion is not enough. We need 3 trillion over 4 years....as per the 2009 agreement....and even more.(which is why fee increases are necessary.....).




Agriculture? This isn't the 1970's.

We are not a big player anymore....and we won't be unless we get more large scale farms. Plus....agric is just another form of resource dependency.(Unless we have plans to use it to feed non-food processing industries....I am not interested).

What we need is an industrial economy....and we won''t get there until Ajaokuta is steaming red hot....and until power supply is drastically improved.

PDP has a long way to go.
