Misquoting is synonymous to lying and does not only represent childish behaviour and an insult to my person but also shows the flaws in your character.

That is besides the point.

An earlier 3 trillion agreement and a present 1.3 trillion agreement is not a concern of anyone except ASSU. ASSU is very happy with the 1.3 trillion. Why? They know better!

1. Educational sector of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has been in a state of comatose and decay for years with issue of funding as primary challenge. This is being sorted with the six year plan to turn things around.

And I say the funding is not enough. There is a reason why Fashola increased fees for Lagos State Uni.....

If you want good things....you have to pay for it.

I leave you with this...http://omojuwa.com/2012/12/proposal-for-tertiary-education-in-nigeria-by-amasonic-opesays/

2. Part of the plan to reposition Nigeria globally also means that our educational system has to be saturated implying there have to be enough schools to meet up with the teeming population.Do you now understand why UME cut off are so high and our children have to go to glorified secondary schools in Ghana? Layman explanation too many people little space-they didn't pass Jamb.

Yes...and you end up with Gowon's mistake.....establish and take over too many schools...only to run out of money to fund them adequately when the oil price goes down. We have seen this before.....

The ''Old woman who lives in a shoe with too many kids '''analogy comes to mind.

3. On R&grin your statement reeks with ignorance. Major research projects are ongoing in some Federal Universities in Nigeria (eg OAU, UNILAG,UI,UNIPORT I have verified) including test run of pilot plants for bio fuel generation and other cutting edge research you are obviously not aware of.
We are not in the leagues of Europe yet but we are noy where we were 6 years ago.
The above listed are the context of innovations I am talking about.

Basically....research in a segment of science is taken as improvement.

The issue is....do we have the capacity to do world class research, to attract world class researchers to our universities.?

How come Malaria research is being done outside the country? Shouldn't we be a world leader?

Still does not make our universities world class.....and still does not excuse the lack of facilities in our universities science labs. And the lack of decent lab facilities. And the shortage of lecturers....especially PhD's.

The federal government just approved another set of Federal universities and private universities today.
In Johnathan's regime over 5 private universities have been built so of you cant see the big picture ask those who are in the know but yet again your misguided and myopic misconceptions will not let you check NUC website to know how many private universities have been established under Goodluck's regime.

Yes...and in case you did not notice....oil prices crashed a few months ago. Now how are you gonna maintain those universities? (And the prospect fills me with sorrow...as I am not opposed to the establishment of new universities, if you must know).

Which is why I want our universities to be FAR better than they are now....and it can only come with LOTS more money....so that we can stop relying on oil...and have a super GDP to do whatever we want.

America was so prepared for Ebola but they still asked Nigeria for aid.......go figure!

They still were better prepared than us. And they have something we do not have....level 4 bio hazard facilities. 12 of them. Now how many does Nigeria have? And don't take me to our health sector...because it is even in a worse mess...at primary and secondary level. We got lucky that Sawyer did not go to a general hospital....the situation would have been much worse.

On agriculture and Nigeria's economy you seem to know zilch and I really dont need to educate your prejudiced mind any longer.

1.In 1970....we were a world leader in cotton, groundnut, palm oil and cocoa. Now....we are No 5 in cocoa....and nowhere near top 10 in the others.

2.We still import food crops.

3.Most of our farming is being done by subsitience farmers....we do not have large scale, scientific farming in this country.

I totally hope you are still a student or else you are a model poster for a decayed educational sector if you are not aware of the present administration's laudable agricultural achievements.

I am aware....and I am aware we are still far behind. In 1970....oil was 26% of our earnings. Now it is 88%. Go figure.

A hint: Visit the NL agricultural section and get off your armchair with the rude awakening that........NIGERIA IS GOING FORWARD!

We will only go forward if we develop an industrial economy like Germany, Japan and South Korea.....a process we were on the verge of achieving in the year 1980....if it wasn't for the mess Shagari and company made of things!...by refusing to follow the Third National Development plan.

Final word....I do not hate you or GEJ. It is just that I am tired of being told that things were so bad before compared to now...because that is what they have been telling us under past administrations...and it is making me tired.

Are you talking about the Mosanto Agricultural Projects? The crisis that erupted in UniAbuja is still fresh on our minds. GEJ policies are as bad as his wife's shows of shame.

Obasanjo was still in office and we knew he had Bell.

Atiku was still in office and we knew he had AUN.

It is understandable if you are not aware.

What is not understandable is you spewing what you have no facts or proof in.

By the way FGN just approved additional federal universities yesterday (alongside others of course) this will make the universities built under GEJ over 20.

That my dear fellow is a landmark achievement no president in Africa has done!
Don't deceive gullible people here just because you want to praise GEJ.Approval of private universities didn't start with GEJ and will not end with him.I don't see why a mere approval of private universities should become a campaign issue, just because it was done by GEJ.I am a member of mountain of fire and miracles ministries, i can categorically tell you that the necessary facilities in the campus of our university (mountain top university) which is among the schools just approved by the FGN,were put in place, about Eight-nine years ago.The delay in the kickoff of the university have majorly due to the insistence of my G.O that the university must be affordable and some other minor issues.Nigerians should stop celebrating non performance and mediocrity. We must insist that our leaders at all levels give us the best.

I am talking about FGN saving over 500b naira on rice import due to cultivation of rice in Nassarawa etc

I am talking about FGN being the major supplier of cassava chips to China 60%-used for bio fuel.

I am talking about the FGN increasing cocoa exports.

I am talking about Nigeria being the biggest producer of cassava in the world.

I am talking about the export of HQCF by Nigeria

Many many more unprecedented and landmark achievements by the Goodluck lead administration I agriculture.

I am talking about an increase in non oil revenues to the federal budget.

To be candid I don't condone the intellectually lazy.

Go and do your research and stop posting ignorant comments online-it is unbecoming and an obvious slight on the Nigerian people and educational system.
