Wike will win if only indigenous Rivers people would vote. Majority of indigenous Rivers' people support Wike. The problem Wike has presently is that of other Nigerians living in Rivers. Most seem not to support Wike because of the hate campaign of APC. That is why Wike has adopted a campaign strategy of meeting them in the markets. Wike was once the chairman of Obio/Akpor LGA; a rich and also notorious for taxation LGA in Rivers State and Nigeria. You can hardly visit Rivers without being in this LGA and it has mostly ended up with bitter taste in the mouth even till date when APC appointees hold sway in the LG. Wike comes from this LG. Though it is not his fault about this development. Obio/Akpor LG is almost the commercial nerve centre of Rivers State and is said to be the 2nd richest LG in Nigeria after one in Lagos. Most chairmen of the LG normally compensate their supporters with tax drive when they get into office. Wike did this a lot which Rivers people know it is normal. But the people who pay this tax and most times non-indigenes are not happy with this. As it is anybody who comes from Obio/Akpor, people tend to remember taxation before remembering the person's name. Need I remind you that they are also landlords of majority of the tenants in Port Harcourt City. Wike is going round to disabuse their minds of this thought. |

I agree. But can we even ask the people collecting money from GEJ and PDP agents? Will that money you are collecting provide food for you for the next 4yrs? Will the money be enough to provide security of your life and property for next four years? Will it provide jobs for your kins and kin? Will it provide you electricity or even fuel your generators ( if you have any) for four years? Will the money PDP is paying to buy your votes provide quality education for your children? I hope U can answer yes to the questions. because GEJ and co will not come back to give you more money. And if they win, will also not give you any of the above. We need to show our leaders that winning a party's primaries no more guaranties electoral victory. We need them to respect our opinions and stop impunity and stealing!! Wike will win the Governorship election in Rivers state ! Some of those reanting here wike will not win don't even have their voters card, APC in the state believed they have lost this one. It all started when they said wike can't be the PDP flag bearer after that he won in the primaries. It started again by protest both in the state & Abuja,wike still stands firmly as those who protested against wike's nomination are those supporting him today. even those from thesame LGA with Dakuku of APC won't vote APC & they told Dakuku openly, their anger is that since they know Dakuku of APC he has not done any thing for his people while he has worked with the Rivers state Government for years. Wike will win in Dakuku's LGA. wike is now visiting all the wards in Rivers state including the ward where Dakuku the APC Governorship flag bearer came from while Dakuku is sleeping in Government house. My brothers & sisters, you can't stop wike not to win this election,the man has counted his victory vote already. He's no more campaigning for him self any more but now campaigning for Jonathan cause his own victory is settled! wike is a politician. 1 Like |

MRLINGTON:I live in Port Harcourt, and I agree with you on this. A vote for Wike is a vote to return us to the dark days when touts and miscreants were harassing and exploiting innocent people, no thanks to his position then as chairman of obio Akpor. I will vote for GEJ but never for Wike who even failed as Educational minister and is unfit to lead the people of Rivers state. He finds himself in leadership position because he is thuggish and Nigeria has no system for recognizing and nurturing its future leaders. In another clime, Wike is not even fit to vie or occupy the office of counsellor. 2 Likes |

Bright2:It's either you are uninformed or you deliberately want to misinform people. Who told you Dakuku is not campaigning ? DAP is presently touring the wards, visiting markets and holding town hall meetings with different groups, doing door to door campaigns. His wife and Dame Judith are meeting women in all LGAs. Unlike Wike, DAP has several support groups doing door to door campaign for him. APC members in the different wards are working as well campaigning on their own for all their candidates. Follow DAP's activities on Facebook by liking the greater2gether page, and stop misinforming people. As for who wins, God Has ordained and Rivers people will decide come April 11. For your information, it will be difficult to rig and guns and bullets will not win the election for anyone. 1 Like |

Why won't he b so sure of winning election in Rivers State when all his supporters are either kidnappers or so-called ex-militants? He believes those tout can deliver him but,unfortunately 4 him Rivers people will resist all forms of intimidation and vote 4 the right candidate of DAKUKU ADOL PETERSIDE and both himself,and his militant friends will be chased out of Rivers state once again. |
