I'm sure you never learnt from your English teacher or books that it all depends on suitability and the context in which the word 'lesson' is used. Nevertheless, I'd definitely not mind teaching you some grammar. Add this to the lesson I said you might want to learn on punctuation.

The popular Oxford dictionary has enough examples that can help you as regards determining the preposition that should come after the word 'lesson'.
