I got married early last year and I did a change of name through a newspaper but I don't knw how I lost d it..I applied for a federal job dis year and I had to jst go to court to get an affidavit cos of d long process of changing it through a newspaper..Nw I want to knw if it will be valid and acceptable for employment in fed gov paramilitries or any oda firm..Pls ur advice is needed cos I hv no experience in dis.Thanks.

It is ok to use it,but know that there are circumstances that will demand you present your change of name publication,especially if it international stuff......so while you are at the job,try to rectify that problem.You can go back to the news house,if you can remember when you did it,and when it was published....they can help..
