You are the one actually crying here. Collins is an Imolite like you but he is a realist unlike you who will always choose to lie. Stadium in Owerre is substandard so it is as good as you people do not have a stadium. Onitsha has two stadia though mini ones apart from the ongoing construction of the FIFA international stadium at the outskirt that will serve the city.

Abagworo:

Do not cry so much. I am not NFF. But it is quite disheartening that an old city like Onitsha has no Stadium.

The Anambra State Government has concluded arrangements with world football governing body, FIFA, to build an international standard football stadium to boost the game’s development in the South-East.
The project is part of the ongoing FIFA Goal Project in the country, which is meant to re-enforce the development of football in rural communities.
The Anambra State Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, Dr. Edozie Aroh, gave the information to the News Agency of Nigeria on Friday in Ogidi near Onitsha on Friday.
Aroh said the government had provided a large expanse of land in Ogidi in Idemili North Council Area for the project, adding that the land was previously used by footballers for training.
“We have got approval from the state government to site an international stadium here in collaboration with FIFA through the FIFA Goal Project.
“So, soon it will come to be. We already have existing provisions, existing land which belongs to the government and which we are going to convert for the project,” he said.
The commissioner said that Ogidi was chosen because of its central location and proximity to abundant human resources as well as a good transport network.
“It is accessible to people who are needed for the project by virtue of its proximity to populous towns like Nkpor, Okpoko, Awkuzu, Oba, Onitsha, Awka, Nnewi and Asaba.

“Anytime it is completed and programmes are taking place there, we expect that a lot of people will attend from within and outside the country,” he added.
Aroh said the state government was keen about the project and was following it up with FIFA.
In his contribution, the Chairman, Transition Committee of Idemili North Council, Ralph Nnabuife, lauded FIFA and the government for locating the project in Ogidi.
“It will help us a lot to contain vices among youths as well as create jobs and commerce opportunities in the council area for traders and crafts men and women.
“As you know, football today is a big profession that has huge financial benefits, and we believe our youths will take advantage of the project to better their lives,” he said.http://www.punchng.com/news/fifa-anambra-govt-to-build-international-stadium/

The truth is that I posted what I saw and deliberately refused to use the word "substandard" because it is quite different from the word "crude" . Good result could be achieved using crude methods. Example is pounding yam with pestle and motar vs using yam pounder. Let us wait for the result before we ascertain the standard. However it looks quite unpleasant at the moment.

Most crude and ridiculous way of building - of all things, a sports stadium - by local bricklayers. (Hillsborough stadium disaster comes to mind).

In fact, too many people in Orlu believe Okorocha has no intention of replacing the old stadium he dismantled. Building of that thing called stadium has lasted more than three years.

The belief that Okorocha does not intend to replace the dismantled old stadium is underscored when you see on this link the construction companies, expertise, energy and huge sum of money put in building the old stadium in just under two years.

The picture he took with students with school uniform on him, imagine the kind of psychological effect it will have on the school age bracket and the parents who does not value education.

Imagine if ministry of education can place the picture of the nation's president in school uniform by the entrance of primary and secondary school gate, imagine how many students that will be inspired by that. I pray by God's grace we will have a man like this in Nigeria one day.

You really don't get me, it is not about showmanship or propaganda, it is about inspiration and message it send out.

When Gej went to Maiduguri in full military uniform, what message does it send to the soldiers in warfront, the BH themselves and the Nigerians at large?
I don't blame you anyway, most of you just support or hates for no particular reason other than sentiments.

True talk. Marking brings out the beauty of a road and even corrects some errors in precision.
