Baroba: Ignorant or curious question deserve an answer or explanation BUT a dumb/stupid question deserve ridicule. Imagine a University graduate asking you who is the president of Nigeria. Will you naively give him an answer or make an attempt to cure him of his stupidity. Note: Ignorance/Curiosity = When you really don't something and wants to know. Stupidity/Dumbness =When you are supposed to know something and you don't know. And you have no excuse to hang your ignorance on. The former deserve an answer and the latter deserve a knock in the head. That's the way to help both of them. |

Baroba: where do you start answering such a question from? By telling him the difference between Windows and Android? Or telling him that Android apps and and Android os mean different things? I believe someone should at least do some sort of research before buying a phone. He needed android apps, he bought Windows phone. Who does that? basille: Okay. For the sake of peace. CAPITAL NO is the answer. BB 10 devices could run some Android apps because it has Android runtime on it. BB OS and Android OS are both based on Linux. So some cross platform collaboration may be possible. Windows OS however is not based on Linux, thus it does not and will never have Android runtime, and thus can never run Android OS or any Android apps. The app developer has to specially create a Windows app from scratch using Windows tools. |
