Lol, Eruditor is definitely not scoffield. His English is way better. Scoffield sometimes used grammar to gbagaun.

Besides this guy has a sense of humour. Scoffield was simply arrogant, Eruditor is simply having fun.

And yeah, he talks like a 24yr old. He's a 'Type A' whom age is yet to temper. Eruditor, you've made your point about magic vs miracle. Now please display maturity by being more sensitive to the hopes of others. As Nigerians, hope is most times the only currency we have.

Remember, smarts + politics(emotional intelligence)? is the way to the peak.

Gillbertoesther:
This Eruditor is scolfied with a different account (eruditor).

By their write-up and the sound of his words, we shall know him.

You are nothing but a pugnacious. Aka trouble maker.

Oya attack(face) me. Mumu under-aged boy in Nairaland.

Good and Bad News!!!
I feel uncomfortable informing the house that the NNPC 2012 recruitment exercise has been put on hold based on rationale best known to the management. The 2015 management promotion exercise is ongoing and can't be run concurrently with the recruitment exercise. Suffice me to say that more people would still get the invite for the interview either through sms or email. The decision to suspend the exercise got to PCL late on the 18th Feb, thus the sms notification was stopped and no further sms was released aside the batch that had been sent out prior to the notification. The second sms sent to the same group of people was only a re-assurance that the exercise was active.
The recruitment may not continue till late April/ Early May.
Please note, i ain't speaking on behalf of PCL or NNPC. Just tot to divulge some privy info. Wish everyone the best.

I can confirm this info because i got the same info a few days back but didn't feel enthusiastic about sharing because of the tension already going on in house with all the grammarians and english abracadabrains grin in the house make them no go stone me vocabularies. The promotion and training exercise will end April 30th from the info i got after which the recruitment process can commence.

Keep the faith people, it hasn't even started!

Switlife:

I reckon that. My puzzle now is, why are such JVs (Duke, Hyson) listed as subsidiaries in the NNPC website Maybe the site needs tinkering.

Well it's a subsidiary sort of, depending on the percentage of ownership. Then again, some staff of NNPC do work for Hyson in terms of secondment. And many of its activities are still controlled by nnpc itself, so they might be right in placing it as a subsidiary.

Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

http://forum.thefreedictionary.com/postst29484_She-is---was-a-former-teacher-.aspx

You put a quote on the supposed sentence but ended up not quoting it verbatim. In any case, this is the sentence: "In fact, the current DMD Bernard Otti, was a former GED of that directorate"

I know your puny brain will overheat trying to make something of the links I provided above so I will try to help (as onerous a task as can be). The phrase 'was a former' (as it pertains to humans) is employed in situations where the person in question is either dead or doing something else after retiring from a previous position as should be indicated in the sentence. So in the sentence above, I used the word 'Current' to indicate his present position and the phrase 'was a former' to indicate what he WAS before taking on the DMD role (his present position).

Feel free to accept or disregard this piece of advice:
1.Get a refund of your tuition from all your English teachers. They bilked you seriously.

2.Grow a pair and be ballsy enough to quote my posts instead of this wanton show of pusillanimity.

3. Don't be a bucolic simpleton. I am not the reason you didn't get a text from PCL. (Oops! I said it)

4. If you are as busy and employed as you claim, leave those of us that are not, to visit NL as often as possible.

Side note: I have learnt to take statements like "I am employed, I don't need this job" with a pinch of salt because most people who aver such, are usually insecure and delusional so they try to use their mouths to make up for what life hasn't given to them.

Personally, I wager you are underemployed but if it helps you sleep at night, then you are the MD of SPDC. grin

Young man,in as much as I don't want to join issue with you,I must advise to be humble and accept where you go wrong,I have been watching this thread silently and must tell you that you made a mistake when you addressed Mr.Bernard.O.N.Otti as the former GED of F&A Directorate at Nnpc, when in actual sense he remains the GED even as I am talking to you, though I can't remember the page now but I heard you saying
you have seen where he was addressed as Deputy GMD(I guess you saw that on our invitation letters for the aptitude test),immediately you said I started seeing you differently, but with the way you are attacking people here especially persons without either of the SMS makes me feel you are thinking that some other persons are not important and once you have your way,any other person can get lost, but I want you to know that until you receive a mail telling you the details of your interview you are still the same with people without Sms,even when you get it,it doesn't confer automatic placement, please always read your messages like two or even three times before you send, thanks a lot, wish you well.
