connivance with the armed robbers, all would have
been safe and peaceful and all that loot would still

thesis that GEJ (and his visit to Lagos) is/are to
be blamed for the armed robbery.

attack. GEJ's contribution to the success of the
planned heists is to absorb all the security forces

activities, thus paving the way for the robbers to
operate, unimpeded

Sorry to say, but the OP make absolute no sense. with all the LASG investment to the NPF, they are not getting value for money because the state don't have direct control of the commissioner of police in the state, the CP reports to the IG who happens to be the appointee of the Presdient.
Instead of blaming Fashola, blame the constitution that foisted a central policing on us.
If Fashola controls police in Lagos, you will sleep at nights with your gates wide open.
Truth is most of those blaming Fashola either have no idea of the context of his statement, or they know but just want to either be mischievous or pretend to put head in the sand.

When u have people like Tinubu, Amechi, Rochas etc advice Fashola, what do u expect Birds of a feather!!!! Fashola lost that tiny respect the moment he made that senseless comment. Maybe it's GEJ's fault when armed robbers attacked the bank in Asaba,the day we lost our Actor, Onyeka Clems! Smh!
