Hey guys, I got an offer from Abu dhabi, 2ru an agent tho', it a kitchen stewards job, d agent said d pay is around 96k-120k (not specific) but there won't be accommodation given, will nid to get accommodations for myself. The total package am gonna pay this agent when the visa arrives is 250k. So guys I need ur help regarding ds issue, can sum1 get an apartment with minimal rent, cos of the pay n guys advice me, have already started tho', av done medicals n interview is coming soon, the accommodation is my main issue. Thankz

Accommodation is very very expensive and is the main factor you should consider when accepting a job offer. If the pay is 96k you might spend up to 50k per month renting a room for yourself unless you want to get shared accommodation with about 6 others in a tiny room.

Where he will live should be a big concern before he gets in biko. If he knows he cannot stay in close quarters with other people who might be very dirty he should not just bother.. No that he arrives and starts complaining.

Thats not possible na. Each application is submitted with your Passport Number, once entered, it will show an indication of already processed/processing visa. One must be cancelled before the other can suffice.

What do u mean by that please? I believe u saw it there that I am going with the expectation of getting a job. I will however take that as a prophesy and I claimed it in Jesus name.

Ras Al Khaimah is the last Emirates in the UAE. It has a lot of mountains and rocks. It can get colder more than the other Emirates(I learnt it has snowed there in the past). The Emirates of Ras Al Khaimah is very close to Oman, less than 2 hours by road and some spend the Oman Riyals easily over there. it's a very small Emirate from my view although officially it is bigger than Ajman which is considered the smallest Emirate. It is also more developed than Fujairah but less developed than Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman in my own view(I haven't been to Um al Quwain). Ras Al Khaimah is more than 3 hours from Abu Dhabi.

This is the only thing I know about Ras Al khaimah as I have only been there once. In my personal opinion I will suggest you focus your attention in the Emirates of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman.

you can work any where u get the job. having a visa from Ras al-Khaimah doesn't restrict u to just that area. u can spread ur wings within the whole of UAE in searching for your job, den wen u get d job, ur employment visa would b processed in d emirate ur firm is located, den u have to exit and re-enter wit the new visa.

I have lived in RAK for couple of months ,though not as sharp as other emirates but housing and general living are very affordable compared to others.
The population of blacks in RAK is very scanty and the source of attraction and fun is their beach and malls.
I really enjoyed their free serve yourself meal every friday after church,Filipinos churches I quote.

Be very carefull, a room in a flat in abu dhabi is btw 2500-3000AED/ month. (130k- 160k Naira)
But if u will be able to stay in a bed space, 500Aed or above (26,000 Naira) with 6 or above people from diff nationalities may be....
Also consider feeding transport etc, think well b4 u leap.

am not in dubai ,but according to what i have read from this thread,education is very expensive in dubai and i don't think what you will be earning could even pay your school fee not to talk of your up keeps.so i advice you look somwhere else.
