The first thing you lose when you join the broom wavers, is rationality and patience. Next, you no longer see anything good in the efforts of others. Next, you lose all sense of respect for others. Just imagine demdem and cleverly outrightly insulting GEJ! Terrible. Pathetic. |

barcanista:@barcanista....you of all people is aware that on a normal day, this would not have happened...but for the sake of elections, we have been hearing good news from all corners. The current administration has had enough time to deal with certain issues including this electricity tariff, but unfortunately they've waited until now when their camp is on fire. |

barcanista:It took the fear of losing an election for your GEJ to wake up showing super performance in less than six weeks. It shows things can be done in Nigeria, and by March 28th we'll send him back to Otuoke honorable and get serious minded people in the saddle of leadership. |

Expect the tariff to jump up after election, i.e., if Jona wins. And how about kerosene @ N120 - N180 per litre. When will it go down to N50. Next time they tell you they are paying subsidy on kerosene for Nigerians, ask them for whose benefit - for the benefit of their importers and distributors who were appointed by them? |

wellmax:Thank God that you acknowledged his "Super Performance". Our prayer is that he continue the zeal till May 29, 2019. We are happy for his deeds so far. As for Buhari, his only access to Aso rock will be to give advice to the President or to attend Council of State meeting. For the Presidency, he can't become the President because Nigerians are unanimous in electing Jonathan. |

In 2014, the govt released N50 billion intervention fund to the electricity companies because they were on the verge of going under due to low revenue. Now, the same govt slashes their revenue by 50%. If the companies were barely surviving under the old price, how will they cope with 50% less revenue. The govt will have to subsidise the companies with even more billions now . That is why the electricity companies (who were the major contributions to the infamous N21 Billion campaign money) will not complain about the slash in price. The President and his inept finance minister insist oil subsidy must go. However, for their own election salvation, they're happy to open a new subsidy corruption channel in the power sector? Only God can save us from this President and PDP! |
