Funds earmarked for President Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign coordinators across Ogun State, on Wednesday, led to fracas after party officials failed to deliver the funds to the beneficiaries.
The money was to be shared at a meeting of 708 coordinators drawn from 236 wards of the state, which took place at a hotel located along Quarry Road of Abeokuta.
But the meeting, which lasted for five hours, ended in controversy after it became clear the funds were not available.
Trouble began after two leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Fatai Adeyanju (National Auditor) and Pegba Otemolu (South West Secretary) told the participants that the money was yet to be deposited into a designated bank account.
‪The news angered the coordinators, particularly, amid claims that N1million hotel bill had been allegedly issued for food and drinks which were not served.
‪The aggrieved coordinators consequently held the two party leaders hostage and insisted that they will not allow them go until the funds were released.
‪At this stage, some political thugs escorted Mr. Otemolu out of the hall, who then quickly entered his waiting Honda pilot jeep for a quick escape.
However, in his bid to leave the area, Mr. Otemolu’s driver lost control and rammed into another vehicle and a passer-by.
The development sparked off multiple reactions as the angry group bundled Mr. Otemolu out of his car while his colleague, Mr. Adeyanju, took to his heels.
‪The commotion also led to attacks on two journalists, Daud Olatunji of Vanguard, and Razaq Ayinla of Business Day, whose work tools were seized by the political hoodlums.
It was not clear immediately how the fracas was resolved.

What is this one saying... If the news favours GEJ you won't be saying what you have just said but now that the news does not favour your boss you are now crying over a spilled milk...

One recurring decimal amongst members of the PDP Presidential Campaign Organization is the incidence of massive and landslide monumental looting of the money they were meant to deploy towards selling the GEJ brand

It has become an Ole gbe,Ole gbaa scenario......Stealing from the Stealer

Correction: Not my boss. The president of the country of which I am a citizen.
You should practice your synonyms more often.
And to think someone posted an opinion the other day that the APC supporters are enlightened. What the hell is 'a spilled milk'? Were you told that 'milk' is countable? Try 'spilt milk.'

By the way, my posts are attached to my username here, I presume. You can peruse it at will to ascertain my take on these 'online newspapers' with their non-existent quotes and plethora of anonymous sources. Why? They have nothing to lose undecided
Unlike the life you have been used to, certain people keep their standards. See below:

The average black man is a poor scholar.
The last time I said this, someone accused me of being derogatory but it's evident!
...Yet the black lot are quick to believe every damn thing that flies in front of their noses hook, line and sinker.
The newspapers would take advantage of your insatiable appetite for 'evil' news and spread all sorts of juicy propaganda, and you'll be quick to gobble it all up. Have you ever taken time to isolate the 'quotes' of the person from the rest of the news anytime you read any news? That should go a long way in exposing what you've been fighting over all this while.

I'ld have told you to stop confusing 'I'm' for 'am' and that by using the 'pot' and 'kettle' comparison to depict us, you just called yourself dumb while trying to insult me. But then, that's none of my business. You're comfortable right where you stand.

"Hark, hear the wild dogs out there in the night. They howl and wail because they are lean with hunger. Yet feed them and what do they? Fight and strut. Then fight and strut some more, giving no thought to the morrrow that will surely come." .. Culled from "The Richest Man in Babylon."
These words describe the State actors in Ogun PDP.
