could you kindly explain.. For example, unilag divides your utme score by 8 and your post utme score by 2 then adds them together to get your aggregate that's used for admission. How's uniben's own done?

exactly what you just said, if your aggregate is not up to 50 then your chance of getting admitted is zero.
