Governor Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom state on Sunday collapsed during an event in the state. NEWSWIRE NG reports that the Governor who is also Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Governorship Forum was immediately transported to an undisclosed hospital in the United Kingdom after he collapsed. The Akwa Ibom state government and the PDP are yet to issue a statement about this development.
