Pls guys, I wanna go into monkey rearing. Buh I tink I shld strt wit having 1 as pet. Pls, does any one know whr I can get? Or perhaps if yu have any for sale.. Thanks |

Before you consider keeping a non-human primate as a pet, please do your research very well. Not very many people are suited to keep monkeys as pets |

You mean you actually want to rear monkey like goats or rabbits, or you just want a pet monkey.. I don't know about the rearing bit, unless you are well versed in non human primates, their behaviour, social structure, habit and feeding habits then it might be a difficult job keeping them. monkeys are quite mischievous and can be destructive.. If you get a wild adult monkeys, you are asking for trouble..Will you be rearing them for research or for pet market? Just curious Personally, I know of odd monkey pets people usually buy from hausa travellers but not anyone having a troop of them. The north will be your best bet.. Left to me I will say these things are social animals that are best left in their natural habit..your call. |
