Politics Nigeria Decides: Buhari To Debate Jonathan

President Goodluck Jonathan, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and Muhammadu Buhari, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC will on Wednesday join other presidential candidates for a debate at the University of Abuja.

The Chairman, University of Abuja Presidential Debate Committee, Mr. Uwakwe Abugu, has promised that President Goodluck Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and General Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will grace the presidential debate being organised by the university tomorrow.

According to him, since none of the candidates had declined the invitations extended to them, it was assumed that they would be present at the event to showcase their manifestoes to the electorate.

He said the tomorrow’s presidential debate would present an opportunity for the candidates to educate Nigerians specifically on their parties’ manifestoes.

The Chairman of the debate committee who spoke in a radio programme monitored yesterday in Abuja, said different media houses wouldbe available to monitor the debate which he said would be two dimensional.

Abugu said the purpose of the debate was not to put any of the candidates on the hot seat or set an examination for any of them, adding, “We just want them to come and educate Nigerians and for voters to know their programmes so that they can make informed choice.”

@Wakacome: Very funny. Altering my post to suit your clandestine intentions doesn't take a chip of my solid stock of the Anglo lingua.

I know you have a head but you make me doubt if what is inside is a brain.

Hello simpleton. Your stupidity has caused an intellectual cataract which has made you unaware of the grammatical correctness in my earlier post.

What I think you should be more concerned about is the fact that:
1. It is 'education' not 'Education'
2. Only one exclamation nark (!) should have been used as against the three exclamation marks (!!!) you used..

School is over, boy. Now run along!

To prevent Bokko Hari from attempting to duck and scurry away from this latest proposed presidential debate, a second option of a televised debate by VIDEO LINK should be proposed, whereby President Jonathan can remain in the safety of the presidential quarters in Abuja, while Buhari remains in the familiar desert surroundings of Buhari Village, Chad Republic, even as both contestants lock horns for a debate by video link, which, failing anything more substantial, can be set up for FREE using Skype.

Another advantage of holding Nigeria's presidential debate by video link would be that Boko Hari can engage off-camera interpreters to explain in the Chad language what is being said by the president in simple English, so that the geriatric, senile and illiterate terror gang leader will be in a position to make intelligent-sounding noises that will help create the comforting illusion that Buhari has a functioning brain.

Long live Seriki Boko Hari, and may her reign over Buhari Village, Chad, for LIFE.

Long live El Presidente Jonathan, and may he lead Nigeria to greater heights until 2019, when his second term of office expires.
