oluwaeunice:No wonder some of those listed above don't want GEJ; he is distorting the structure and control of that family. The first time a sitting President will not succumb to external control. I had a tit-tat with a former NEPA staff...He confirmed to me that claims that GEJ hasn't done anything as regards power, is all false. The truth is that staffs of defunct NEPA still want the status quo to be maintained. They make so much money as long as things remain as they are. They detest the idea of pre-paid metring because it denies them the 'egunje' they love collecting. Nepa is the most corrupt institution in Nigeria. If we recall, it took more than 2 yeas to unbundle PHCN successfully because many never wanted it to work.. the BPE kept shifting the date until President GEJ stood up and insisted that October 2011 or 2012, the process must be completed and it was. There are too many interest in Nigeria's electricity that it working, will bring down 'powerful' cartels. Can you imagine Prof Nebo discouraging local power generation technology that doesn't rely on fossil fuel simply because he has investment in solar technology for power generation? There is a sinister agenda to make sure power doesn't work in Nigeria so that fossil fuel sellers, generator importers and repairers, 'PHCN' workers continue o thrive. Little wonder they worked hard to remove Barth Nnaji; he was passionate about bringing President GEJ's vision to reality. Let's prayerfully cast our vote on saturday, 28th of March 2015. Nigeria must March forward in Jesus name! |
